Ítem Solo Metadatos Motivación y desempeño laboral en la Universidad Católica de Cuenca, extensión Cañar(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Tacuri Palaguachi, Mercy Janneth; Orbe Guaraca, Mariory Priscila; 030258468-5The issue of job performance and motivation has been a key element for many years now. In addition, they are related to the organizational area because they measure the productivity of an organization. The objective of this research is to measure such motivation and performance levels. Therefore, its methodology has a qualitative focus with a descriptive and field reach. The population of the study includes a total of 35 teachers and 15 administrators who work at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Cañar campus. The data were collected through a survey that contains 27 questions about what workers think about their jobs and labor activities, these are assessed through a Likert scale. In conclusion, there exists a commitment from the workers towards the university, because it has recognized and rewarded the role of each worker in accordance to their labor profile, nevertheless, related to the organization of work as such reflects certain doubts regarding the workload and hours of workers, which are evidenced in their statements regarding work overtime and weekends. The research was developed under a mixed perspective, cross -sectional desing, and with a quantitative approach; the sample of the population under study was made up of 181 microenterprises where a structured questionnaire was applied The information abtained was used to characterize the aspects that the microenterprises faced and it was possible to evaluate their current situation and the impact that the pandemic generated in El Tambo Cantón. In conclusion, the health crisis had a direct impact on income with the decrease in sales due to the restriction and pause of activities, having to adopt teleworking actions, online sales, promotions, price adjustment,advertising in social networks, strategies that allow businesses to go back to their normar activities and seek their sustainability. Consequently, enterprises are not only commercial entities but social ones, thus, it becomes necessary to assess the work environment as a mechanism that allows to visualize the reality in order to make decisions, which guarranty the physical, mental and social well-being of those who constitute the basic pillars to the success of any organization by accomplishing its goals and objectives. The methodology is a quantitative-descriptive research with a field approach. Data were collected by applying a survey, such questionnaire included 47 questions that were evaluated on a nominal Likert-type scale, which allowed the analysis of the five dimensions that make up the organizational climate, these include: personal fulfillment, work involvement, supervision, communication and working conditions, which are determined by their respective indicators. Based on the responses gathered from the staff who work and collaborate at the Fire Department in Cañar, it seems that the institution must reflect on their actions in order to take corrections and create a good organizational environment, which generate bonds of commitment between the worker and the institution, even more, because this is a department that is in charge of emergency care and life saving. Thus, the job assessment, the possibility of promotions, respect for hierarchies, adequate supervision, constitutes the perfect equation to get an optimal work environment. The methodology used is of a descriptive and field type, since a bibliographic review has been carried out on the subject in question and theories about motivation, in addition a survey was taken of the operational and administrative workers of the GAD SUSCAL, being a public company where Motivation is verified as a key factor at the business level. The results obtained yielded positive aspects since the majority of workers were partially in agreement with the motivation in the company and other factors such as the organization at work, the performance category, the work and individual context, however it was observed that to improve the Motivation is required to improve the aspect of salary payment and the promotion of education / training. Finally, it has been verified that motivation is a key factor that companies must address to generate productivity and job satisfaction. Descriptors: motivation; organization; labor; factors;Ítem Solo Metadatos Clima organizacional: Caso de estudio en la cooperativa Mushuk Yuyay del cantón Cañar(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Martínez Ochoa, Cesar Alexander; Ordoñez, Cristina; 030260517-5This research project was carried out in the Mushuk Yuyay Cooperative in the Cañar canton, in order to analyze the organizational climate in the institution. The research was based on a descriptive non-experimental type with a quantitative approach, for data collection it was used a survey with a questionnaire, which consisted of 46 questions addressed on a Likert scale. When analyzing the results, it was observed that there are some shortcomings in the organization regarding the structure of the organizational climate. The staff stated that motivation is not a point that is highly valued or taken into account; for example, the projected data shows that more than half of the employees are not satisfied with the support they receive from their superiors, sometimes with little or no support, as well as the fact that the manager is not very interested in the staff professional development, including the fact that the majority admit that they receive little training, which is why they are dissatisfied. Similarly, half of the employees feel that they do not receive rewards or benefits for the tasks they perform. On the other hand, communication is not strong enough, since at least 50% of those surveyed mentioned that the supervisor does not listen to the suggestions made, which generates insecurity in the employees, also the communication channels are not wide enough, causing information problems and therefore the fulfillment of objectives. Keywords: organizational climate, work climate, internal environment.Ítem Solo Metadatos Dinámica del emprendiendo en el cantón Suscal(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Santander Zaruma, Fausto Rafael; Ordoñez Laso, Ana Luisa; 030282131-9The objective of this research is to investigate how big the ventures in the Suscal Canton have grown in recent years, as well as, the problems that they have been implemented to maintain themselves in the market, and how dynamic they have been implemented to maintain themselves in the market, and how dynamic they have become. Therefore, a survey was applied to a selected population through the stratified random sampling method. The population of the study included 466 ventures from the Suscal Canton, which are comprised in its municipal license registry, of its Autonomous Decentralized Intercultural Participatory Government, in 2021. In conclusion, from the results gathered in the survey, it can be stated that the ventures in the Suscal canton are scarcely dynamic, due to certain factors such as the origin of their businesses being more a necessity than an opportunity, the limited generation of employment, even though, they have been in the market for more than 4 years, the low sales growth, the lack of knowledge about the governmental legal regulations that support both entrepreneurs as well as private financial institutions. Satisfaction is a strategic element that focuses on the user to generate a win-win relationship; a lack of initiative, empathy, and communication skills leads to negative perceptions that would question the company's good name. Satisfaction is subjective, so companies must investigate their customers' needs and expectations so that they are met and satisfied. This article seeks to evaluate the client's level of satisfaction at the "Los Cañaris Hotel" in the canton and province of Cañar-Ecuador, through a quantitative and descriptive research approach. It enabled the data collection during a cross-sectional field research using a structured questionnaire applied to a sample of 136 hotel clients. The results made it posible to establish a theoretical model of satisfaction. In conclusion, this study recognizes the importance of quality service within the lodging business. This research aimed to determine sustainable strategies applicable to enterprises at the second-grade organization ‘Tucayta’ in the Cañar canton-Ecuador. For this reason, mixed approach research with a descriptive scope was carried out, using a bibliographic and field design, where the survey technique was carried out using a questionnaire applied to two populations: 1) administrative staff and employees, 2) the target market population where a probabilistic sampling census was carried out respectively. The results show administrative management weaknesses that affect the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of the business sustainability variable; from the financial perspective, it is necessary to implement strategies related to cost control, sales increase, and profitability generation; projecting the customers’ satisfaction needs without compromising the environment. For this reason, this article aims to determine the customers’ level of satisfaction at the “La Fabril” company in the cities of Cañar, El Tambo, and Suscal. It was a quantitative research with a non-experimental and cross-sectional approach, where the SERVPERF (Service Performance) survey was carried out to evaluate the quality of service through five dimensions: physical elements, reliability, responsiveness, security, and empathy, applied to 30 supermarkets and grocery stores in the cities of Cañar, El Tambo, and Suscal. The results show that empathy and security are the most relevant factors of customer’ satisfaction at the “La Fabril” company, while reliability is the least valued factor. In conclusion, the company satisfies its customers’ needs, however, it needs to incorporate monitoring and controlling strategies for problems that arise in the delivery process. For this reason, this research aims to evaluate the human talent management of the Empresa Pública Municipal Mancomunada de Aseo Integral del Pueblo Cañari (Cañari Municipal public company for integral town cleaning) (EMMAIPC-EP by its Spanish Acronym) in Cañar through a quantitative research approach. It allowed the analysis of data collected during a field research using a questionnaire applied to all employees of EMMAIPC-EP. The results show that academic staff training and development processes within the institution are good; however, staff training, staff performance appraisals, and the work environment are poor according to the respondents. In conclusion, the human talent management processes in the company include parameters or variables that are not covered, which causes workers to lose motivation and perform poorly. Therefore, the proposal of strategies to improve this reality remains open for future research. The objectives of this article seeks to make a diagnosis at the Sumak Mikuna Association of El Tambo Canton- Ecuador, in order to establish marketing strategies to improve its positioning in the market under quantitative and qualitative approaching techniques. The study is basically descriptive and transversal since it focuses on collecting clients’ and managers’ opinions present in reality. The results show the importance of basing marketing strategies on psychological and socioeconomic aspects that condition consumers’ purchases. To conclude, consumers always keep quality in mind as a prevailing issue, so these strategies must be appropriate to achieve the goals of the association. Keywords: strategies, marketing, association, market.Ítem Solo Metadatos Modelo de gestión administrativa para la microempresa UNILAC Lácteos Únicos(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Encalada Narváez, Rubén Danilo; Orbe Guaraca, Mariory Priscila; 035016056-0An administrative management model is directed to achieve the company´s objectives; to do this, planning, organization, guidance, and control needs to be addressed and optimally applied. For this reason, this study aims to design an administrative management model for the UNILAC dairy microenterprise. The methodological design is based on qualitative-quantitative research with descriptive scope, where the survey technique was carried out to collect data using a questionnaire applied to a sample with a probabilistic and stratified calculation, that is, applied to two reporting agents: 1) microenterprise employees; 2) its potential market in the Cañar canton-Ecuador where the research was carried out. Results show that the perception on the implementation of planning activities are carried out on 84%, 80% in the organization, 85% in the management area, and 72% in control activities. At the same time, the limitation of the microenterprises are seen at the internal communication level as well as with their stakeholders. About its potential market, a low marketing participation is perceived; the company needs to strengthen its administrative management to achieve the desired marketplace positioning. This study aims at designing marketplace positioning strategies for the Mushuk Pacary Handicrafts Association in Cañar–Ecuador. Descriptive research whit a mixed approach was carried out, using a cross-sectional field design, data collection was carried out in a stratified population of two reporting agents: 1) association members; 2) its target market population where a census and a probabilistic sampling were carried out respectively. Then results showed that members’ training is required in administrative management, marketing, and sales; so it has generated a decision-making failure. It has helped the enterprise expand its market, take advantage of its competitors’ weaknesses, improve its internal processes, and produce higher incomes, helping it achieve recognition. In conclusion, although the target market shows considerable acceptance for the organization’s products, valuing attributes like quality, it is necessary to redirect the marketing strategy to achieve the desired positioning. From this perspective, the study’s objective is to determine the factors that condition the implementation of enterprises based on unified general high school projects. The methodological design is based on a quantitative research approach and descriptive scope. Data collection was carried out through the survey technique, using a questionnaire as a tool, applied to a simple and stratified random sample of high school students and teachers responsible for entrepreneurship in the school year 2022-2023 in academic units of the canton Cañar - Ecuador. The findings show that 40% of the projects are implemented after the students graduate, while 60% are not. Finally, it is concluded that the main limiting factor for entrepreneurship is the lack of economic resources and the deficiencies in public policies that make the entrepreneurship ecosystem more complex. In conclusion, it is essential for educational institutions, as a transversal axis of their management, to make strategic alliances with public and private organizations to strengthen entrepreneurial skills, expand financing options and promote the viability of their students' business ideas. The current research aimed to propose and Administrative and Organizational Management Model for CañaRed. The organizations is dedicated to the distribution and presentation of services related to the internet. The applied methodology in this research was qualitative, exploratory because in permitted to identify the accomplishment of the administrative process. The information was gathered through a survey and an interview applied to the entire CañaRed staff, which permitted to determine that the organization does not have a clear administrative management nor well-defined processes. Finally, the research concluded with the elaboration of an Administrative and Organizational Management Model for CañaRed, which contains the process map, the structural company´s organizational chart and a manual of functions that Will serve as a guide in the management of the different processes that are developed in the entity. This investigation aims at analyzing the 4.0 industry applied at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Cañar Campus. It was a qualitative investigation where surveys were carried out by means of a questionnaire applied to the students from the different faculties at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Cañar Campus, to determine the level of knowledge and management of new technologies in the educational field. Results show either some ambiguity or confusion related to the usage of 4.0 technology by the students from higher education levels; therefore, it seems that either there is little usage of such technology by the institution or both professors and students do not know about them. In conclusion, students recognize the importance of using 4.0 technology in the educational field, and they sense that the university contributes to an innovative and adaptive kind of thought, which opens up the possibility of insertion into society without any problems in a near future. It has produced great job losses affecting families' financial stability. For this reason, some citizens affected by this problem have created businesses in Cañar to meet their needs and those of the community. This investigation aims to identify enterprises that have been able to adapt themselves in times of crisis by means of innovation. The research is quantitative, descriptive, and analytical. A survey applied to people who have enterprises in the last year in the city showed that 91.7% of them are new, and mostly, it is the first enterprise for these individuals. An important aspect is that they do not have a previous plan for their business, generating instability for the enterprises that will not last in time and will have a rapid decline in the market. Keywords: entrepreneurship, innovation, pandemic, entrepreneurs, Cañar cityÍtem Solo Metadatos Calidad de servicio y satisfacción del usuario en las instituciones financieras del cantón Suscal(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Tenesaca Machucala, Blanca Liliana; Rodríguez Pillaga, Renán Teodoro; 030261834-3Abstract Service quality and customer satisfaction are elements that are pretty much linked together; as well as, it is a very important aspect to be considered inside the organizations, therefore, the present research work aims at determining the perception users have regarding the quality of service and satisfaction in the financial institutions from the Suscal Canton. Consequently, the quantitative method was used, thru the application of instruments to gather the sociodemographic data from 387 users, in addition, the users’ perceptions regarding aspects such as tangible elements, reliability, empathy answer capacity, safety, as well as, indicators to measure their satisfaction degree. Information was gathered thru the use of Google forms, which seems to be both upstanding and reliable. Results from the statistical analysis suggest that customers feel moderately satisfied with the quality of service they receive from the financial institutions, and their level of satisfaction is 63.82%; which stands as a high level. It is also significant to highlight important aspects such as modernity, the attractiveness of the teams, and most of all the proper attention and interest on the part of the employees when carrying out the processes both quickly and efficiently for a suitable performance of the entity. Thus, it can be concluded that there exists a direct relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction. Keywords: Customer satisfaction, quality of service, financial institutions.Ítem Solo Metadatos Estrategias de marketing para la Asociación Artesanal Hatun Ayllukuna(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Acero Zaruma, Lourdes Josefina; Ordoñez Gavilanes, Magdalena Emilia; 030240191-4Marketing management refers to strategies that contribute to positioning, emphasizing on adapting product, price, promotion, and market place variables based on needs tastes, and requirements of the marketing demand. This research aims at designing marketing strategies for positioning the Hatun Ayllukuna handicraft association, carried out in the rural area in the canton of Cañar-Ecuador. A mixed approach research with a descriptive scope and field design was carried out, where the survey technique was conducted using a questionnaire applied to two reporting agents: members and target market, where a probabilistic sampling was employed. The results showed weaknesses in administrative and marketing management processes where 87% of the target market drinks beer, 81% likes artisanal beer and only 21% drinks it; loyalty to a particular brand is not identified in the market. In conclusion, the organization is not positioned as a result of a low marketing application and investment, mainly due to poor management when advertising, missing the opportunities that currently, technological media and social networks provide. Therefore, strategies to differentiate quality and taste at competitive prices are proposed to improve marketing communication level. Keywords: strategies, marketing, association, positioning.Ítem Solo Metadatos Modelo de gestión administrativa para la Asociación de Productores Alli Muyu(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Chimbo Guamán, Jessica Magaly; Castillo Castillo, Deisy Carolina; 030279462-3The Allí Muyu agricultural producers’ association of the Cañar – canton Ecuador brings together agricultural producers to make a single organization in order to carry out collaborative and solid activities. An inadequate application of administrative process components was identified, which did not allow the directors to have a clear administrative management vision; leading to a disruption and loss of resources. This study aimed to design and propose an administrative management model for this association in order to improve its internal processes and to become a support tool for organizational management. Within the methodological aspect, the research was descriptive, with a quantitative approach, the technique developed was the survey, through the application of a questionnaire to the members of the association. The results showed the need for a tool to support administrative management in an adequate manner; therefore, the proposed model will allow managers to make better decisions at the organizational level, and thus increase the development and sustainability of the association, becoming a trigger to achieve the proposed objectives.
