Subnivel medio(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Marín Cordero, Christian Alberto; 0104765730; Aldas Arcos, HelderThe present work focuses on Physical Activity and Sedentary Habits in children of the middle level of the Private Elementary Educational Institution Unitec Discovery and is developed in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. This study aims to analyze the physical activities that allow the substitution of sedentary habits in children of the middle sub-level of the same Eductional Institution. The present reseach has a non-experimental cross-sectional design, with a descriptive scope, in addition, among the main methods, literature reviews, historical logical method, synthetic analytical and deductive method were used, as well as a questionnaire type instrument validated by different professional pedagogues, to privade greater reliability to the collected data. this questionnaire was applied to 25 students of the Private Elementary Educational Institution Unitec Dsicovery of the city of Cuenca, through the Google Forms system. As main results, it was obtained that in the 50% of the sample during the week predominates sedentary activities and the other 50% predominates physical activity, these sedentary activities increased to 59.1% on weekends. In conclusion, there is an awareness of the importance of health at an early age in this population segment.Ítem Acceso Abierto El ajedrez como estrategia pedagógica para el fortalecimiento de los procesos cognitivos(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Guamán Guamán, Luis Alejandro; Bravo Navarro, Wilson; 0302715883; ., .Physical Education is generally linked to physical activity only, when disciplines such as chess, which are developed in a cognitive space and can also contribute to improving academic performance in other areas, can also be encouraged. Unfortunately, this sport is not implemented in educational institutions despite its benefits. In this sense, the objective of this research was to know a bibliographic analysis the valuation of chess as part of the strategies that contribute to pedagogical practices. The research method was the bibliographic review, conducted by means of a systematic method based on keywords for the search, and inclusion and exclusion criteria for the selection of researches. The results show that there is concordance in the references regarding the benefits of chess in the academic performance and the development of cognitive skills in the students, including, also at a social and emotional level. The conclusions of the research agree with the suggestions issued by UNICEF, to implement these activities as part of the curriculum at all educational levels, considering its extensive benefits in the academic context. It is observed, however, that it is still necessary to investigate the teaching methods, and the need for Physical Education teachers who want to approach this teaching methods, and the need for Physical Education teachers who want to approach this teaching process, to specialize in the game, as well as in its pedagogy, in order to be able to teach it adequately and, in turn, to make the best possible use of it.Ítem Acceso Abierto Análisis de la coordinación motriz de las divisiones formativas de baloncesto del Club Unidos(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Barahona Zhirzhan, Diego Ismael; Almache Tello, Olger Estuardo; 0104963491; .Poor work in motor coordination avoid players become excellent and more competitive and this is one of the problems that occurs most frequently during a U12 category basketball competition. The objective of this study is to know the teaching methodology used by coaches to work motor coordination. For this analysis, it was applied a qualitative methodology, applying a survey to a team's coach and a test of motor coordination parameters for players as a method of data collection. The population was made up of 150 athletes, members of the "Unidos Club" team, taking into consideration a sample of 20 athletes. The results showed that 20% of the athletes present certain deficiencies and difficulties in terms of their coordination abilities. In addition, the methodology taught by the trainer is adequate. Therefore, as conclusions, it is referred that motricity perfects and coordinates the movements in basketball players in all stages and categories, especially in the U12 category where age is essential for those involved to develop these capabilities enhancing them to the level of excellence.Ítem Acceso Abierto El buen uso del tiempo libre en los adolescentes mediante la actividad física(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Yupa Allaico, Ruth Noemí; Torres Palchisaca, Zoila Guillermina; 0302642327; ., .The proper use of free time in adolescents has always been a topic of great concern for both parents and educators, for this reason, this article aims to know the benefits of the good use of time through free physical activity in adolescents of the Educational lnstitution "Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre", for which descriptive research with a qualitative-quantitative and bibliographic scope was conducted. The survey technique was used, consisting of 8 questions applied to 51 adolescents. Once the research was completed, it was possible to determine that most of the adolescents' free time is dedicated to physical activity is the use of digital media, and social networks. The conclusion was that physical activity is the best way to spend adolescents' free time, since it can strengthen socialization, the development of values and improve their quality of life, as well as being the best way to prevent adolescents from being affected in their health, especially by avoiding sedentary lifestyles and their terrible consequences such as obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, low self-esteem, etc.Ítem Acceso Abierto Búsqueda y selección de talentos en le voleibol en categorías escolares(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Coronel Argudo, Bayron Fabián; Coronel Argudo, Bayron Fabián; 0302491766; ., .Young people are one of the population groups that in recent years have greatly decreased the level of physical activity due to some factors, specifically, it could be observed that the students of 3rd year of high school of the institute “Andrés F. Córdova" in the canton of Cañar, because of a misuse of technology are becoming more physically inactive; for this, we analyzed the practice of physical activity in them. This research has a population of 517 students, with a sample of 221 students, a non-experimental design was used, with a cross-sectional descriptive scope, with a qualitative approach because an interpretative analysis was made on the data obtained through the application of questionnaires (PAQ-A) and questionnaire of sedentary sociodemographic activities. lt was determined that 44% of the population perform different physical activities or practice some type of sport, a minimum of students reach the levels of physical activity recommended by the WHO, which are 3 days per week, the levels of physical activity in a large percentage is insufficient since most of the population does not have the necessary interest in the practice of it, causing a greater abandonment of their educational and social life, because of a large percentage use technological advances.Ítem Acceso Abierto El coaching deportivo y la motivación en el Club de Fútbol Independiente Azogues(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Peralta Peralta, Jonnathan Fabián; Torres Palchisaca, Zoila Guillermina; 0302302971; ., .The physical, technical and psychological skills are involved in the activities and practices of each of the athletes, today it is possible to develop all of that, through scientific advances and the contributions of sports coaching and motivation within the sports field. The objective of this article was to analyze the importance of the implementation of sports coaching and motivation as preparation tools in the players of the Independiente Azogues Club, for which a qualitative-quantitative, literature, field research with a descriptive scope was conducted.The survey technique was used, consisting of 11 questions addressed to 25 players of the Independiente Azogues soccer team, and the analysis of all the results collected was done by the statistical program Google Form. As a result, an opinion and criteria were obtained from the interviewees and the conscience of the athletes that this new tool applied to sport is of great importance and especially of great influence in the sports field, as it helps to develop and enhance their skills and physical, technical and psychological qualities that are part of the intelligence of the athlete allowing to achieve, archieve success and high sports performance.Ítem Acceso Abierto Entrenamiento de la lateralidad del fútbol en los niños de la categoría sub 13(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Sacta Calle, Carlos Geovanny; Vargas Cuenca, Gilbert Mauricio; 0301674826; ., .The research work is directed to the training of laterality concerning the fundamentals of soccer; control conduction, passing, and finishing the ball to the goal, trying improve the coordination and mastery uf both profiles in situations that arise in a soccer. The sample consists v of 28 children with ages ranging 10 to 13 years, who live in the Canton Biblián and Azogues; they were selected for their characteristics a sample of 90 athletes of the institution. In response to the instruments were selected to identify the variant laterality of the children through the Harris test, it was determined that 89% (25) are right-handed and the others e left-.handed, through the use of an observation of soccer, then it was determined how effective is the development of laterality in the sport. Significant differences between laterality and fundamentals of soccer were discarded according to the positional and functional variables of the athlete on the playing field. As the main conclusion, it is highlighted the proposal of a methodological guide of exercises that help the training of laterality in soccer and the due importance it deserves, looking for the improvement of the ability, coordination, and mastery of both profiles, for a better performance of the sport which will generate greater opportunities for a soccer player to become a professional footballer.Ítem Acceso Abierto Formación del pensamiento táctico en el fútbol base en niños de 12 años(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Sárate Naula, Jhon Arturo; 0106069206; Vargas Cuenca, Gilbert MauricioThe training processes, in the soccer training area, have evolved over the years and for this reason, the teaching-learning process of soccer must be integral. Hence, modern soccer has become very competitive and every time it requires football players with different skills and competencies to remain in the elite of soccer world. Therefore, the objective of this research is to present a didactic strategy to contribute to the formation of tactical thinking in children of the U12 category of "Don Doyo" school in Cuenca, Ecuador. Tactical thinking helps to take advantage of the opponent at different times in the development of a match. In this sense, an exhaustive bibliographic review was carried out around the formation of tactical thinking and then the research instrument was built: survey and the observation sheets of field practice that were applied to the coaches of the soccer school. After the diagnosis, the training process that is carried out in soccer training was reflected on, which shows a series of capabilities of the players that are not being used by the coaches. In conclusion, the implementation of the didactic strategy responds to the needs presented by the children of the soccer school.Ítem Acceso Abierto Incidencia del modelo ludotécnico de atletismo sobre la motivación en la Federación Deportiva del Cañar(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Cabrera Torres, Josué Napoleón; Heredia León, Diego Andrés; 0350198222; ., .The objective of this study was to determine the influence of the ludic-technical model of athletics on motivation and sport satisfaction in federated athletes of the province of Cañar. A quasi-experimental design was used. Thirty people participated in the experimental group, 16 males and 14 females between the ages of7 and 21; 9 were the control group, 5 males and 4 females between 13 and 20 years old. The instruments used were the Behavioral Regulation in Sport Questionnaire (BRSQ) and the Intrinsic Satisfaction in Sport Questionnaire (ISS), both in their Spanish adapted version. The questionnaires were applied in two periods (pre-test and post test) with a period of three months in between each of them. The SPSS program was used for the descriptive and reliable statistical analyses. The results in the experimental group showed an increase in the dimensions related to motivation and sport satisfaction, favoring mainly intrinsic motivation. In the control group, the changes were not determinant in terms of motivation and satisfaction levels. In conclusion, there were positive changes in sport motivation and satisfaction when federated athletes implemented the ludic-technical model.Ítem Solo Metadatos Iniciación a la práctica del atletismo en función de la metología ludotécnica(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Toalongo Lozado, Byron Manuel; Heredia León, Diego Andrés; 0302585419; ., .The objective of this study is to compare the traditional methodology with the ludie technical one, through the experimental application of the ludictechnical model in middledistance and longdistance athletes. The study sample consisted of a group of 16 longdistance and middledistance athletes from the Cañar Sports Federation with an average age of 16.50 (SO = 1.88). A quasiexperimental design was applied using the methodology of observation, interviews, and field tests. The instruments used in this research were a field test 800 meters that were applied befare (pretest) and after the process with activities with the ludictechnical model (posttest), an observation sheet, which helped to assess the coach about the use of the phases of the model during the training sessions and interviews to know the satisfaction of the model by the athletes and the coach. As a result, a 77.54% compliance by the coach in the application of the model is observed profitably, the interviews show that there is the empathy of the athletes and coach towards the model, the field test shows better physical performance. In conclusion, by inducing activities of the playful method in the discipline of athletics by the coach, satisfaction will be generated towards sports practice, in addition to benefits in the performance of athletes.Ítem Acceso Abierto Metodología para el aprendizaje de los fundamentos técnicos del baloncesto en niños(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Chérrez Vintimilla, María Victoria; Ávila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; 0302009089; ., .This study was developed in the city of Azogues, thus, it was identified that there existed limited methodology related to the learning of basketball technical fundamentals in children; additionally, there are only a few clubs that are in charge of providing training to basketball players. This research aimed to identify whether the coaches know and apply the teaching and learning methodology related to the technical fundamentals of basketball. The research was non-experimental with a descriptive, qualitative focus and transversal. The population was one coach and fifteen athletes, men and women between eight and ten years old, an interview and two observation cards were applied to the coach, on the other hand, one observation card was applied to the athletes, the SPSS program was used to conduct the statistical analysis. In conclusion, it can be determined based on the results of the study that the coach knows two methods such as global and analytical for the teaching-learning process of basketball technical fundamentals and rarely applies these methods, that is, 46.6% and never 20, 10%, therefore, it can be inferred that they dominate a few methods and-in the training session it is evident that their application is limited.Ítem Acceso Abierto Metodología para el aprendizaje de los fundamentos técnicos del voleibol en la Federación Deportiva del Azuay(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Guamán Zhinin, Oscar Andrès; Ávila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; 0302562038; ., .The objective of this research is to identify the level of knowledge and application of the teaching-learning methodology of the volleyball technical fundamentals of volleyball. The study corresponds to a non-experimental design, with descriptive scope, qualitative approach, and and cross-sectional. Forty-seven athletes of the junior and pre-juvenile categories, aged between 8 and 15 years of age, participated in the study, an observation form of technical fundamentals for volleyball players was applied. In the same way an interview and an observation form were applied to the coach of the Azuay Sports Federation. The results showed that the coaches are prepared and the methodology applied is limited since they omit some of the technical fundamentals of volleyball and recommend those good athletes should be trained from an early age of 8 years old, as opposed to a person who has already fully developed person who leaves the process after a certain period of time. On the other hand, it was found that 50% of the athletes have a good performance and the other 50% have an intermediate and regular performance. The study concludes that volleyball requires a series of knowledge and learning of the technical fundamentals to have a good performance and practice of this sport. The athletes should be well instructed by their coaches complying with all the processes and teaching methodologies so that they develop sport motor skills and become high-level competitive athletes.Ítem Acceso Abierto Métodos de enseñanza en el fútbol para niños del Club Quito Sporting(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Villacrés Trujillo, Alexis Javier; Jarrin Navas, Santiago Alejandro; 0704772292; ., .This article begins wi1h an analysis of the problem initially identified and it based on its researching object, which is given by the methodological technical fundamentals of soccer, these factors have a significant impact on the development of methodological technical elements used by a coach during the formative training of a player. To conduct this study, the approach used was: quantitative, with descriptive scope since it provides the background of research carried out, by searching knowledge and information on the subject discussed. The valuation instruments were the survey applied to the coaches and the observation sheet applied to Quito Sporting Club players this allowed to identify the factors which influence football teaching methods. 40 coaches and 50 athletes were taken as a population, while the convenience method was used to obtain the study sample which allowed choosing 6 soccer coaches. Moreover, an observation sheet was applied to 25 athletes of Quito Sporting Club from 10 to 12 years. Finally, in the results it was possible to know that 1he children lack coordination, balance, and poor execution in foo1ball techniques, it was also observed that the coaches of Quito Sporting Club of Arenillas Canton show a low knowledge about football methods and techn iques since the low mastery of the subject has contributed to making mistakes and has demotivated the practice of sports.Ítem Acceso Abierto Métodos de entrenamiento para el desarrollo de la fuerza en adultos del gimnasio Energym(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Fernández Chimborazo, Lenin Alcívar; Bravo Navarro, Wilson; 0302603709; ., .The objective of this research is to analyze the leveIs of strength in adults at the Energyrn gym through a battcry of ficld tests. This study is ficld rcscarcb bccausc it is a methood to get information data directly from reality and apply through data collection techniques, it is of longitudinal cut that refers to the researchers can take note of lhe changes that present in the qualities of the members, make observations and detect any kind of change, and has a mixed approach. The sample participating in this research is comprised of 38 adults between tbe ages of 18 and 46 years old, 25 men and 18 women. The instrument used to conduct the study was a muscle strength test va lidatcd by the author Bosco in 2002. The processing of the information and analysis of the results was developed using the SPSS 25.05 system, which is presented through tables, graphs, frequencies, and percentages. The participants of the Energym gym increased their strength levels in the incline bench press, rowing, squat, dead weight, after the application of tbe repetitive method during the training sessions in a period of 3 months.Ítem Acceso Abierto La práctica del atletismo a través del juego: Modelo ludotécnico(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Fernández Lema, Henry Xavier; Heredia León, Diego Andrés; 0302222849; ., .The current research e,phasizes on the practice of Track and Field through recreational games, based on a neew approach such as the ludotechnical model, which suggests as its main input the cognitive, emotional, motor and ludic aspects to be used in Physical Education. The objetive was to determine if Physical Education teachers carry out track and field activities with students through the ludotechnical model. A total of 50 teachers participated in the research from different schools in the canton of Cañar. A survey was applied, which has been previously tested by experienced and qualifield teachers with vast experience inthis field. The SPSS statistical software was used for data processing and analysis of the results, with frequencies and porcentages. The results obtained in this research reveal that the ludotechnical model is not the most popular in devoloping learning processes, since the most widely used model is the traditional one, which is unique to each school. In conclusion, teachers in their teaching practice are still applying other models for Physical Education and Track and Field classes, while, in spite of these limitations, a porcentage, althoughlow, stated that they are aware of the play-technical model and recognize the benefits of applying it.Ítem Acceso Abierto Prevalencia de sobrepeso y obesidad en escolares de la escuela de Educación Básica Unitec Discovery(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Cardoso Adab, Alex Adrián; Moscoso García, Raúl Fernando; 0105671499; ., .One of the main public health problems in both developed and developing countries are overweight and obesi1y, which is a risk factor for the rising of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and other diseases in adulthood, so it is important to prevent, detect and treat it in time. The main objective of this s1udy is to know the levels of overweight and obesi1y in the students of the Unitec Discovery School of Elementary Education through the determination of tbc body mass index. Non -experimental research was developed with a descriptive scope and a qualitative cross-sec1ional approach. 48 s1uden1s from 9 to 16 years of age were studied. Their age, gender, weight, and height were recorded and the body mass index formula was applied to obtain their body fat. The main results show a prevalence of 38% of the population is overweigh1; 6% of the population is obese; notably, 56% of the students have a normal weight within the acceptable range. Physical activity along with exercise has proven to be an effective therapy to prevent diseases that can be chronic and that can have effects not only on the physical but also on the mental state of people. However, With the inconveniences presented globally by the Covid-19, some physical activity campaigns have been forgotten, since now the use of spaces where some kind of physical activity could be performed are suspended and that is why people in recent times have become more sedentary than before. In order to have good physical condition, it is not only the physical activity that is performed, but also the type of food that is eaten, which should be as healthy as possible, type of physical activity.
