However, thanks to the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, these companies suffered great impacts, so much of the economy of the countries was reduced and the unemployment rate increased. The objective of the research is to analyze the strategies implemented by SMEs in times of pandemic in Azogues - Ecuador. The research is exploratory and descriptive, its study is cross-sectional with a non-experimental design and has a non-probabilistic sampling. For the data collection, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, 167 surveys were carried out, which were applied to the SMEs of the Azogues Canton. By tracing the art, it was possible to determine that 77% of SMEs implemented strategies to survive in the presence of the pandemic, with digital marketing being the most used strategy, since it stood out with a percentage of 62%. Likewise, 55% of SMEs mentioned that these strategies helped them stay in the market and 46% stated that they were able to adapt to changes. In this way, it is concluded that the implementation of the strategies helped many companies to be able to plan and optimize their activities in order to act in the face of the great impacts caused by the pandemic and survive in a highly competitive market.

This article aims to analyze sales productivity in Commercial Salinas through sales tracking and statistical data collection to apply strategies for sales growth. This research is developed under a descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design study. The survey technique was applied to the 30 commercial workers for data collection, and the instrument research was submitted for validation by experts. After the application, it was tabulated and analyzed. The results reveal that the company's leaders offer a good environment to their workers since there is evidence of genuine companionship significantly enhancing teamwork. However, it is necessary to plan and develop periodic training on the products and the different processes so that workers can close sales. Finally, the company must motivate and encourage all members concerning their performance, allowing them to feel that their work is valued and give their best for the company's growth.
- ÍtemAcceso Abierto“Determinación de factores asociados a la ventaja competitiva en Mipymes del sector comercial de Azogues - Ecuador ”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Lema Lazo, Nina Raymi; Ormaza Andrade, Jorge Edwin; 0302809017; ., .This study, "Determination of Factors Associated with Competitive Advantage in MSMEs in the Commercial Sector of Azogues, Ecuador," is based on a positivist quantitative methodology. The research was conducted with an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational design in the population of MSMEs in Azogues-Ecuador, with a sample size of 115. A survey, validated by experts, was employed as the data collection instrument, with a Cronbach's reliability coefficient of 0.786 —indicating high reliability—. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics for variables of interest in four categories: competitive advantage, innovation, market orientation, and knowledge transfer. Each category includes detailed questions to explore different aspects. The findings indicate a significant correlation between competitive advantage and the three independent variables: innovation (0.989**), market orientation (0.984**), and knowledge transfer (0.995**). This suggests that these factors determine the competitive advantage of MSMEs in the commercial sector of Azogues, Ecuador. However, the data follow a non-normal distribution, so Spearman's correlation test was used instead of parametric analysis. Despite this limitation, the study provides valuable information on factors contributing to competitive advantage in this particular sector and context.

The research is oriented to an exploratory and descriptive design, as well as being cross-sectional, non-experimental, non-probabilistic and has a quantitative approach. The survey technique was applied and the questionnaire as an instrument to a sample of the Economically Active Population (PEA) of Azogues, where it was obtained that e-commerce grew remarkably in this city, but that there are also concerns in this type of purchases. , for which the BACEC method is proposed for the acquisition of goods and services safely.
- ÍtemAcceso Abierto“Estudio Correlacional del liderazgo transformacional y cumplimiento de metas de MiPymes comerciales en Azogues – Ecuador”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Siguencia Narváez, Jonnathan Iván; Ormaza Andrade, Jorge Edwin; 0302625744; ., .Transformational leadership is an approach that enables any organization to confront the continuous changes that arise in a market niche, motivating the workgroup to empower themselves and promote continuous improvement of their capabilities, contributing to the company's operation and goal achievement established in the short and long term. Objective: To determine the level of correlation between transformational leadership and goal achievement in commercial MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises) in Azogues-Ecuador. Methodology: This research had an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational scope. It was cross-sectional and conducted using a nonexperimental design with a quantitative approach. The population considered was 205 members of the Chamber of Commerce in Azogues. A sample of 133 was surveyed using a questionnaire measuring instrument to test the hypothesis: Transformational leadership is a factor associated with achieving goals. Results: Eighty-five percent of the commercial MSMEs in Azogues demonstrated an intermediate level of transformational leadership; similarly, 84% of these organizations showed optimal compliance with their established goals. Conclusions: It was possible to determine that there is a correlation between transformational leadership and the goal achievement established by the commercial MSMEs in Azogues-Ecuador, being perceived as a fundamental element in the functioning and operation of any business organization, regardless of the size and commercial sector in which it operates.

The research is exploratory, descriptive, quantitative and transversal. The study analyzed the main variables such as quality, price, frequency of consumption, among others; The survey was used as an instrument. The main results reflect that if there is a potential unsatisfied demand which allows to obtain profitability within the warehouse; In the same way, the implementation of the company in the city will contribute to the generation of employment and the commercial growth of the city. Finally, based on the results, a value proposition is generated that focuses on market analysis, which will allow companies to evaluate certain key functions in order to capture and create a target market.

Objective: To determine the factors associated with business model innovation in MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises) in the city of Azogues-Ecuador. Methodology: This study was exploratory, descriptive, and correlational, and cross-sectional and used a non-experimental design and quantitative approach. The population of the present research consisted of 205 members of the Chamber of Commerce in Azogues. A sample of 133 was considered, and a survey (Likert scale) was administered to them. Results: Eighty-four percent of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry members in Azogues have an intermediate level of innovation in their operations. In contrast, 12% have a high level, and 5% have a low level. Conclusions: The decision of commercial MSMEs in Azogues-Ecuador, to innovate their business model depends largely on market orientation, financing, and competitive advantage. This situation contemplates savings and favors a new value proposal for the products and/or services offered, considering the new demands and needs of a market niche, allowing them to become more efficient and sustainable companies.

Therefore, to identify the factors associated with the decision to prefer a university degree in Azogues and Biblián - Ecuador, a quantitative research was carried out, with an exploratory, descriptive and correlational scope, cross-sectional and non-experimental. It indicates that the first factor considered when selecting a career is the possibility of obtaining a job, to access better salaries and not find an excessive professional offer in your area, and the second factor it is the monetary one, associated with the family budget. Concluding that the dependent variable choosing a university degree is correlated with the labor market (0.631**), personal aptitudes (0.729**), family tradition (0.345**) and the family budget (0.619* *), and it is statistically significant because the statistical test is less than 0.05 of the p-value.

Therefore, descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental research sought to determine the uncertainty and financing factors associated with the design and implementation of commercial MSMEs in Azogues Canton, Ecuador. It was concluded that MSMEs in the economy are development generators, facing barriers to their creation in the areas of financing, technology, and equipment, increasing the aversion to taking risks by entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to structure the vision and mission clearly and substantiated and establish the risks and benefits that can be found, requiring to obtain stability and projection to have financing lines for the different stages.

It begins with a brief explanation of the principal or base theories that will serve as support to delve into research and data analysis. It is essential to detail definitions of keywords such as innovation, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship skills, and how the COVID-19 has influenced both positively and negatively the creation of companies. With the tracking of the art, it was possible to have deep and timely research. On the other hand, with the handling of the survey instrument, it was determined some variables that affect the development of the organization; the importance of SMEs is fundamental for the country, helping to enhance social and economic development, as they are promotors in producing and marketing good and market services. However, the pandemic generated several companies handle different models of innovation and entrepreneurship to grow and maintain themselves within the market. It can be concluded that the government should implement various training programs in entrepreneurial skills to support companies that help the country's economic development.

Therefore, it is necessary for companies to be aware of the changes that occur over time and to update their strategies accordingly. On the other hand, it aims to determine the level of correlation between digital marketing in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the commercial sector in Azogues-Ecuador through an investigation applied to the formulation of digital marketing. The methodology employed was quantitative, with a probabilistic sample of 105 research subjects, where the technique used was the survey, and the Likert scale was employed as an instrument. The the SPSS program was used for statistical analysis, and the Spearman Correlation test was applied. The results indicate that the variable Prom_Marketing Digital has a correlation of 0.651** with a significance of 0.000, showing a strong correlation with the dependent variable Prom_Innovation. The variable Prom_Sales has a correlation of 0.629 with a significance of 0.000. and the variable Prom_Tenology has a correlation of 0.755** with a significance of 0.000; these three variables have a positive correlation concerning the dependent variable. In conclusion, the variables have a good correlation as they facilitate MSMEs to use digital marketing through strategic approaches to achieve high efficiency and effectiveness.

Cement plants are located in areas with large urban settlements, with a greater diversity of flora, fauna, and water sources, requiring further analysis and proper management to minimize pollution. Thus, through a documentary, exploratory, descriptive, transversal, and non-experimental research, where interviews and bibliographic review were applied, seeks to determine whether the management of liquid waste generated in the Hormicenter production processes is efficient and executed based on its own guidelines and legal regulations. In addition, it was identified that neighbors and workers were not affected and did not notice odoriferous pollution; likewise, flora and fauna did not have an impact. Despite no contamination, Hormicenter staff must be better qualified and skilled, and the company has to improve its tools, systems, equipment, plans, and programs.
