All associations that manage good business practices have a high consumer satisfaction level. Through applied research, this study aimed to determine how ethics and social responsibility influence community organizations in Biblián-Ecuador. The scope of this study work is exploratory, descriptive and correlational, cross-sectional, and non-experimental. The research is a purposive non-probabilistic study. The data collection technique was the survey, which was applied to 160 community organization members. Spearman's correlation was used since the test is parametric. As a result, a high bilateral correlation was obtained between the independent variables Prom_EthicalPrinciples (0.678**), Prom_EnvironmentalCare (0.644**), and Prom_GoodBusinessPractices (0.644**) at a statistical significance level of less than 0.05 p-value, confirming that there is a bilateral linear association between all the research variables with Prom Ethics Social Responsibility, which is the response variable. In community organizations in Biblián, Ecuador, ethics and social responsibility directly influence ethical principles, care for the environment, and good business practices.

Therefore, it is appropriate to study the migration to digital marketing in commercial MSMEs in Azogues. Therefore, a study is conducted in which a sample of millennials between 20 and 40 years of age in the city is analyzed, and a validated survey composed of 18 multiple-choice questions is applied. The results are compiled using digital media in the cloud; for their channeling and analysis, the SPSS statistical program is used to generate contingency tables, graphs, and chi-square tests to validate the hypotheses proposed. As a result, 78% of millennials make purchases online, underscoring the significance for commercial MSMEs in the city to venture into digital media. Likewise, the digital absence and lack of online positioning among the businesses of the city became evident. This research aims to make an academic-strategic contribution to the commercial MSMEs of Azogues in digital marketing campaigns while addressing the research question: Are there bivariate dependencies between digital marketing and exogenous factors applicable to commercial MSMEs in the city of Azogues? Additionally, how can they take advantage of this tool with its implementation?

However, thanks to the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, these companies suffered great impacts, so much of the economy of the countries was reduced and the unemployment rate increased. The objective of the research is to analyze the strategies implemented by SMEs in times of pandemic in Azogues - Ecuador. The research is exploratory and descriptive, its study is cross-sectional with a non-experimental design and has a non-probabilistic sampling. For the data collection, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, 167 surveys were carried out, which were applied to the SMEs of the Azogues Canton. By tracing the art, it was possible to determine that 77% of SMEs implemented strategies to survive in the presence of the pandemic, with digital marketing being the most used strategy, since it stood out with a percentage of 62%. Likewise, 55% of SMEs mentioned that these strategies helped them stay in the market and 46% stated that they were able to adapt to changes. In this way, it is concluded that the implementation of the strategies helped many companies to be able to plan and optimize their activities in order to act in the face of the great impacts caused by the pandemic and survive in a highly competitive market.

This study analyzes the variables in developing e-commerce in MSMEs in Azogues City in Ecuador. Thus, an exploratory and descriptive scope was used, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design for the data collection on a single occasion. The study subjects were the consumers of the city of Azogues, where a non-probabilistic sampling was applied, with a sample of 379 people, through a survey with 15 questions related to sociodemographic data, internet use, preferences of electronic payment methods, and consideration of the variables. One of the most relevant results found in this article is that 41.7% of the total surveyed make online purchases more than once a month, 31% prefer the use of debit and credit cards; concerning ease of use, 50.24% consider that it is easy to use, while 44.8% feel insecure. In conclusion, the MSMEs in Azogues face a significant challenge with the evolution of online shopping, one of the main drawbacks being the distrust and lack of knowledge that society presents towards this new way of purchase.

A quantitative methodology was used, following the positivist paradigm. The research had an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational scope. The study was carried out among employees of retail businesses in Azogues, using a census sample of 164 subjects obtained from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azogues database. The sample size was calculated using the simple random sample size formula, resulting in a sampling size of 115. The survey technique was used with a questionnaire as the measuring instrument. The questionnaire was validated by experts, and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated to measure the instrument’s internal consistency. A coefficient of 0.876 was obtained, indicating good reliability of the collected data. The results revealed high Spearman correlation coefficients between the independent variables Prom_Entrepreneurship (0.951**), Prom_Innovation (0.991**), and Prom_Enterprise Management (0.986**) and the dependent variable Prom_Positioning, indicating a statistically significant correlation. Finally, the study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation of retail companies in Azogues; identify areas of opportunity and potential challenges, and offer recommendations so that these companies can reevaluate, adjust, and improve their strategies and achieve their objectives more effectively and efficiently.

This article aims to analyze sales productivity in Commercial Salinas through sales tracking and statistical data collection to apply strategies for sales growth. This research is developed under a descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design study. The survey technique was applied to the 30 commercial workers for data collection, and the instrument research was submitted for validation by experts. After the application, it was tabulated and analyzed. The results reveal that the company's leaders offer a good environment to their workers since there is evidence of genuine companionship significantly enhancing teamwork. However, it is necessary to plan and develop periodic training on the products and the different processes so that workers can close sales. Finally, the company must motivate and encourage all members concerning their performance, allowing them to feel that their work is valued and give their best for the company's growth.

Under a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach study, the descriptive and exploratory statistical method was applied whit 110 respondents. Concerning the results of the variable Product, 30% of those surveyed HAD A LOW -MEDIUM ECONOMY LEVEL for buying the product. likewise, 29% of the respondents prefer good-quality product. In the Price variable, 46% of those interviewed accepted the price, while the remainder indicated that it should be improved since 39% of the population does not have a stable financial capacity. According to the Promotion variable, there is good product knowledge with 30%, and 70% do not. In of offers and discounts. Similarly, 71% believe that the promotion of the product should be through digital media. For the Place variable, about 57% of respondents, promoting social media channels would significantly increase sales. Furthermore, 38% and 36% emphasize that the business place is good and very good, respectively, since 53% believe the company’s location is relevant.

Therefore, in this research, 12 artisan producers in Azogues-Ecuador were observed during the production and marketing of blocks, thus determining good practices. For this purpose, qualitative, interpretative, exploratory, and descriptive research was conducted. The data collection techniques were in-depth interviews with questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed the need to generate an organizational culture of continuous improvement and staff training during dosing, setting, drying, and curing the blocks. Likewise, strategies were identified for the commercialization of the product through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to have a sustainable impact on the small enterprises of the social and solidarity economy in Azogues.

The study aimed to characterize this sector and understand its impact on the region's economic development and employment generation. The methodology used was descriptive exploratory, non-probabilistic and cross-sectional. The technique employed was the survey, and the instrument used was a questionnaire validated by expert opinion and calculated through the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient for the general scale. The results showed a non-parametric test, with an arithmetic mean of 3.80 and a standard deviation of only 0.536. In conclusion, an encouraging panorama has been revealed regarding entrepreneurship and growth opportunities for metal-mechanic distributors in Azogues, which show a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and a capacity to innovate and adapt.

The study was conducted through mixed investigation; it means qualitative and quantitative, t was exploratory and descriptive scope, and non- experimental cross-sectional; subsequently, after obtaining the results and uploading data to Excel, the SPSS statistical software and Spearman's correlation processed the information and the analysis revealed that the association degree coefficient between the tourism adequacy variables, good practices, and tourism recreation has a strong association with competitive advantages, obtaining coefficients of 0.393**, 0.444**, and 0.320** respectively and determining that the variables are relevant as a competitive advantage over other places.

However, the situation changed dramatically when the pandemic forced people to adapt to new business ways. Aware of this trend, local companies accelerated their transition to e-commerce to keep their businesses afloat, leading to the post-pandemic consolidation of e-commerce. Therefore, this research aims to determine the pre and post-covid e-commerce in the canton of Biblián - Ecuador. The methodology used is exploratory and descriptive since an analysis of e-commerce before and after the pandemic was developed, accompanied by a market study through a survey application. The data were analyzed and proved useful in determining the causes and consequences of e-commerce in the businesses of Biblián. The results confirm a non-parametric distribution, with an arithmetic mean of 3.85 and a standard deviation of 0.7. In conclusion, the COVID pandemic has accelerated the adoption of e-commerce, which was once considered a developing trend, but today has become an integral part of the business landscape. It has also brought benefits to both consumers and local businesses, transforming the way transactions are conducted and contributing to the region’s economic development.

The purpose of this research is to analyze consumer behavior in relation to furniture made of post-pandemic melamine in the cantons of Biblián, Azogues and Cañar. The methodological aspect responds to an exploratory and descriptive research with a quantitative approach of a cross-cutting and non-experimental axis of a non-probabilistic type. For the collection of information, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, applied to 382 inhabitants of Biblián, Azogues and Cañar. Among the most relevant results, 60% have bought melamine furniture, of which 47% state that they do so because of the elegance that it denotes. 52% state that melamine furniture is better than traditional furniture. It is concluded that furniture made of melamine has a great acceptance in the market, due to its unique characteristics such as elegance, which reveals a great business opportunity in the present sector.

Despite this, before the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not widely used, so as a result of this event, the inclination for digital media increased. The purpose of this article is to analyze trust in electronic means of payment as a determining factor in e-commerce. A post-pandemic look at Azogues and Biblián, Ecuador. The research responds to a quantitative methodological approach with an exploratory and descriptive scope, of a probabilistic type, with a transversal axis and of a non-experimental nature. The collection of information was obtained through the measurement instrument, survey, applied to 380 inhabitants of the cantons of Azogues and Biblián. The main results obtained were that 59% of the inhabitants do make purchases online, of which 60% do so with a frequency of every two or three months, where the most used means of payment are transfers or deposits, in addition , it follows that 47% of people intend to increase online purchases. It is concluded that in the Ecuadorian context there is confidence in electronic payment methods with a view to increasing their purchase frequency after two years, which denotes an opportunity for local businesses to implement new technological sales strategies in order to reach more competitive levels in the market and thus strengthen its profitability by reactivating its economy.

The research was conducted with an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational design in the population of MSMEs in Azogues-Ecuador, with a sample size of 115. A survey, validated by experts, was employed as the data collection instrument, with a Cronbach's reliability coefficient of 0.786 —indicating high reliability—. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics for variables of interest in four categories: competitive advantage, innovation, market orientation, and knowledge transfer. Each category includes detailed questions to explore different aspects. The findings indicate a significant correlation between competitive advantage and the three independent variables: innovation (0.989**), market orientation (0.984**), and knowledge transfer (0.995**). This suggests that these factors determine the competitive advantage of MSMEs in the commercial sector of Azogues, Ecuador. However, the data follow a non-normal distribution, so Spearman's correlation test was used instead of parametric analysis. Despite this limitation, the study provides valuable information on factors contributing to competitive advantage in this particular sector and context.

The research is oriented to an exploratory and descriptive design, as well as being cross-sectional, non-experimental, non-probabilistic and has a quantitative approach. The survey technique was applied and the questionnaire as an instrument to a sample of the Economically Active Population (PEA) of Azogues, where it was obtained that e-commerce grew remarkably in this city, but that there are also concerns in this type of purchases. , for which the BACEC method is proposed for the acquisition of goods and services safely.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoDimensiones Asociadas al Emprendimiento Productivo en Biblián-Ecuador(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Encalada Alvarez, Hernán Patricio; Solís Muñoz, Juan Bautista; 0302041017This research on productive entrepreneurship in Biblián-Ecuador is based on the positivist paradigm, which assumes that the results of applied studies are the most acceptable sources of human knowledge. This quantitative and correlational investigation has a non-probabilistic and intentional cross-sectional design. The research group comprises 35 merchants affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce of Biblián. The research questions are created employing an expert rating method in which individuals consider the questions according to their relevance. Statements with higher scores become part of the information collection instrument, and the reliability of the evaluation instrument is also tested using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, which measures the internal consistency of the items about the variables. Thus, the results indicate that profitability 0.418*, growth 0.434**, and innovation 0.368* are associated with productive entrepreneurship. Therefore, specific conclusions mention that in the canton of Biblián, productive entrepreneurship is applied in the daily processes of companies, so work experience is significant to undertake in the business being applied through public policies that support innovation to ensure profitability. - ÍtemAcceso Abierto“Dimensiones de la logística en las Pymes: Almacenes de Ferretería, Eléctrico y Metal Mecánica Biblián – Ecuador”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Vásquez Aguayza, Crystopher Joel; Quevedo Vázquez, Jorge Oswaldo; 0302120415; ., .The article analyzes the dimensions of logistics in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the hardware, electrical, and metal-mechanical warehousing sector in Biblián, Ecuador. The study’s main objective is to explore innovative logistics, logistic processes, and their influence on the integrated logistics of these companies. The research is based on a positivist approach and uses an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational research design. The study population consisted of 40 employees, and data was collected through surveys using a questionnaire validated by experts. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was applied to evaluate the instrument’s internal consistency, and a value of 0.836 was obtained, indicating adequate consistency. The results show descriptive statistics of the variables related to integrated logistics (0,976**) and related logistics processes (0,985**). Data such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, variance, range, minimum and maximum are presented for these variables. In addition, a normality test was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and it was determined that the variables follow a non-normal distribution. Therefore, Spearman’s nonparametric correlation test was used to analyze the relationships between the variables. The results showed a high correlation and statistical significance between the independent variables (innovative logistics and logistics processes) and the dependent (integrated logistics). In summary, this study provides relevant information on the dimensions of logistics in MSMEs in hardware, electrical and metal-mechanical warehouses in Biblián, Ecuador.

This research article analyzes financial education as a post-pandemic strategy in MSMEs Azogues-Ecuador. For the development of this study, a methodology based on an exploratory and descriptive quantitative approach with a transversal axis and non-experimental cut was used. Information was collected by surveying 360 MSMEs in the Azogues canton. As a result, 65% of the respondents knew about financial education, of which only 36% applied savings methods in their enterprises. The highest percentage ofthe application was the elimination of ant expenses with a percentage of 54%. In conclusion, financial education is only limited to theoretical knowledge within the MSMEs, which shows a deficiency in the correct use of financial tools. Therefore, it is essential to provide training support on this topic since it would positively impact their competitive development.

Likewise, Ecuadorian society has a slow recovery, which minimizes restoring the previous development standards. This article aims to identify the economic variables that affected the Déleg canton due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is exploratory and descriptive since it starts from a specific context of the study, the inquiry is transversal. A survey was applied to the population. The results evidenced the need to improve the inhabitants' quality of life, security, and the economic processes are emphasized in agriculture, cattle raising, and tourism. In conclusion, the pandemic had a negative impact on the canton, so it is crucial to seek new development proposals to mitigate the discomfort of the population and identify productive processes to achieve early economic recovery.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEmprendimientos productivos anclados al destino turístico Virgen de la Nube en la cima del Abuga(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Chabla Gómez, Jessica Estefanía; Reyes Cárdenas, Narcisa Azucena; 0302933163; ., .This article aims to determine the entrepreneurship related to the Virgen de la Nube tourist destination at the top of the Abuga hill, through the exploration and description of the phenomenon, to support the Azogues canton's economic reactivation based on the main qualitative and quantitative variable. For this purpose, a mixed approach, experimental, probabilistic, and non-experimental design was used. Information was collected on 12 variables, 4 of them being the main ones for this research: Consumption Preference, Tastes and consumption, Length of Stay, and Cost Preference, through surveys applied to tourists, to know the current situation regarding the lack of tourist services . As a result, religious tourism has an enormous acceptance by tourists. The study determined positive data about the cultural attractions of the Azogues canton, so it is considered a great business opportunity for the sectors of this place. It is concluded that, in religious tourism, entrepreneurship is a fundamental basis for developing this sector, as they complement the satisfactory experience of visitors. It denotes a great competitive advantage for these places. According to the results of the measurement instrument, 43% of the tourists visit the place for religious reasons.
