- ÍtemEmbargoEl dibujo libre para fomentar la creatividad en niños de 4 a 5 años.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Calle Tapia , Fernanda Gabriela; Mejía Paredes , Rufina Eduviges; 1400588099This research presents the results of a study on free drawing to promote creativity in children aged 4 to 5 years. The objective was to evaluate, through the application of a free drawing activity guide, its influence on the development of creativity in preschool children. The study adopted a mixed approach that combined documentary and bibliographic research with field work. The design was experimental, pre-experiment type. The inductive-deductive method and observation were applied to a sample of 22 students of initial education, preschool level of the "Facundo Bayas" Basic Education School using the observation sheet. In addition, the survey applied to 30 teachers from establishments in the Province of Morona Santiago was used to find out if they use free drawing as a form of expression of creativity in children. The main findings of the educational intervention show that the proposal of executed activities allowed the results to be improved, showing when comparing the pre- and post-test that creativity experienced positive changes. In conclusion, research suggests that free drawing in early education helps foster creativity in children.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEstrategias de estimulación temprana para fomentar el lenguaje verbal en niños de educación inicial.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Castillo Jara , Johanna Elizabeth; Mejía Paredes , Rufina Eduviges; 1400500003The early stimulation of verbal language is paramount since it is fundamental in the comprehensive development of children in early childhood. This theoretical review aims to describe the main results obtained on the importance of early stimulation strategies. For this purpose, systematic, documentary, and literature research was conducted with a descriptive non-experimental cross-sectional design. The search was performed utilizing different sources of information, such as books, articles, and theses under the following search terms: strategies, early stimulation, verbal language, and early education; finding a total of 51 documents, so considering the following aspects: validity, relevance, and reliability, 33 types of research were chosen in different databases including Redalyc, SciELO, Proquest, RRAAE; from North American, European, Latin American and the Caribbean countries, prioritizing publications from the last 10 years. The results obtained from the analysis of the information show that there are several strategies and activities for verbal language stimulation, but teachers neither use nor apply these strategies. Therefore, a guide for teachers on strategic early stimulation activities to develop verbal language in children is proposed.
