COMPANY” aims to determine the feasibility at the economic, technical, and legal and legal level at implementing a network IXP technology which significantly allows establishing efficient and secure connection point for access to services. To this end, concepts that incorporate network topologies, IXP elements, network protocols, and methodologies that allow the development of projects related to this research were studied. After a comparative analysis of the methodologies for project management was done, the PMBOK methodology was the most appropriate, comprised of five phases. Within this, the technical part was studied which means the technological equipment, the required fee, quality, legal and environmental aspects that must be fulfilled for the implementation of this project. Keywords: ixp, bgp protocol, networkÍtem Acceso Abierto Análisis de técnicas para pruebas de ethical hacking-pentesting en sitios web(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2021-11-06) Ortiz Padilla, Gerardo Antonio; Flores Urgiles, Cristian Humberto; 030291381-9ABSTRACT The present work analyzes the techniques for the ethical hacking test, pen testing in a website, thus, it is essential to rely on the informatics system safety that uses the instructions to avoid vulnerability in the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, blocking out the unauthorized access. The main objective is to analyze the Ethical Hacking-Pen testing. The methodology was based on the different phases of the OWASP Ethical Hacking, which includes the planning, gathering of information, numbering and exploration of vulnerabilities, privilege lifting, and report. The population included a website that was created (DIGI shop). The developing methodology was implemented in the results, starting from the identification of the scope, resources, and metrics. Then, the architecture and the UML diagram of the security were designed. Later, the vulnerabilities were scanned in Kali Linux, where five threats were identified and the exploitation was carried out with the Metasploitable program. Finally, the comparison of ethical hacking techniques according to CVSS parameters was presented and in the last phase, an indicator was established as a measure to measure the level of solution to vulnerabilities. Concluding that the most suitable ethical hacking technique to identify vulnerabilities in the store's website is pentesting SQL injection. For the development of a Strategic Plan of Technologies, some methodologies were studied, the most suitable being the PETI methodology, which has as its main advantage to be a planning and monitoring tool for information technology projects. The PETI methodology was developed in four phases, starting with the current situation of the IT department, inventory of IT resources, technological architecture, and documentation available to the institution, which helped to propose IT strategies. For the implementation of the IT strategies, a schedule was drawn up establishing the activities to be carried out, the execution time, as well as the investment, the risks involved in each of them, and a plan to mitigate the risks. The lack of information about security standards in the GADMIET makes the information handled within the organization vulnerable to manipulation. Therefore, this research aims at designing a manual of information security policies based on the ISO 27001 standard in the GADMIET from El Tambo. Thus, to efficiently develop this thesis work, the ISO standard is taken as a basis for the 27001: 2013 and the ISO 27002 good practice guide, to determine the controls that allow the assurance of the information. Accordingly, a survey was applied to the IT manager to determine the current situation of the organization. Additionally, the survey of assets of the department of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the respective qualification. The level of risk was determined based on the threats of the aforementioned assets and the pertinent controls were established, obtaining, as a result, the policy manual for the intercultural GAD from El Tambo. In order to develop this research project, a software-development methodology was defined, in accordance with the project`s necessities. Once the methodology was defined. A software that allows the use of the MAGERIT methodology was designed and developed, to effectively and efficiently analyze the risks, showing the norm ISO/IEC27001 controls, such system allows to conduct an informatics-risk analysis thru the essessment of assets, impact, probability, identifying the threat index and the risk level of the assets. Finally, the software was tested by entering the essets, and providing it with the respective mark, some threats to such assets were identified,the impact and probability were marked to obtain the risk level, if the level is high, the necessary controls are presented for each threat to mitigate the risk. At present, several marketing areas are not yet updated in marketing issues or do not have a means by which they can be advertised. Many of these businesses use traditional techniques such as printing press or radio, without knowing that many of these methods are becoming obsolete nowadays. There is a great weakness in El Tambo canton regarding marketing since most of the business owners do not use any means by which they can advertise themselves, and therefore, reach a larger marketing area and thus increase their sales. For this reason, the design of a digital marketing plan was raised to help solve this problem. Television and other conventional media outlets are less frequent among users and enterprises that search to reach out clients though new communicative channels of these outlets. The marketing strategies guarantee the business success in these new contexts for and adequate marketing management. That is why, an objective to develop methods and digitals tools for the creation of an online communication media outlet for the Cañar canton was posed. A descriptive-transversal quantitative research was carried out through an online survey applied to 118 people. The results showed social networks whit the most impact as well as the consumer´s trends. Based on such information, it was developed a proposal of a company that provides marketing digital services called “Power Tv”. The results also allow to understand that social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are both the most relevant and used ones in the Cañar canton, it was also permitted to configure a program oriented to meet the needs of the average users and software and hardware outlets required. It is important to emphasize that, in order to guarantee reliable data to users through digital marketing, it is advisable to opt for the use of paid software, which allows to measure the impact of online advertising and, based on the results, generate new proposals according to the needs of each company. The analysis was carried out through the different phases of the CRISP-DM methodology, which were carried out in R, with the execution of the most outstanding libraries such as twitteR, rtweet, tidyverse, knitr each one of them fulfill different funtions. Data were collected from the online social networking Twiter. Next,an exploratory og the behavior data was conducted, in order to determine the percentage of positive, negative, and neutral tweets about each topic to be analyzed. Results show that text mining is a discipline that in its currents state can be useful for decision-making for both companies and individuals, nevertheless, it is susceptible to improvement in order to take advantage of the massive amount of opinios in text issued by users of the different social media sites. Consequently, the lack of a strategic plan that endorses the diffusion and promotion of services was evidenced. Therefore, a comparative analysis of the methodologies was conducted to desing a strategic plan, online business strategies, marketing strategies, platforms for the advertising of touristic places and hotels. Thus, the PEST methodology was selected as the most suitable for the strategic plan proposal from the broadcastm of the hotel services the strategies objectives were determined into four factors actions to accomplish those objectives, the responsibility of their execution, the digital platforms, social networks to promete the strategies and the investment required for each one of them. The business continuty in the technoligical field is a methodology for the well mansgement of the ICT in order to obtain the well-functioning of the Enterprise. This research proposes a business continuity plan fr the Net Cañar Enterprise. It starts with an analtsis of the studies carried out before in the different ISP where similar methodologies are applied, and they validate the ones used in this Project. Then the most relevant definitions for the development of the business continuity plan are presented. On the other hand, a comparison of the dofferent standards and normative for the elaboration of the BCP was aslo conducted. Similarly, a Comparison beyween the different methodologies for the risk analyses. The gathering of information was done, the norm ISO 22301 is selected and specified for the elaboration of the BCP and the Magerit methdology for the analysis and risk management. Finally, the application outcome ot the magerit methodology is pointed out and the proposal of a business continuity plan that will be the reference for the Enterprise is developed. To do this, a comparative analysis between the different IDEs has been made, where the most important aspects such as open-source platforms, allowing the free creation of projects, accessibility without restrictions, different devices compatibility, support for programming languages, security, etc. have been collected. The android studio IDE has been selected based on these criteria and the study that was carried out since it meets the points already mentioned, enables modeling, desing of both native and hybrid apps. In same way, a comparison between different methodologies for the use of an agile development methodology has been made since each one of them has very different priorities, requirements, and technologies. In addition, the importance of acquiring quality software, minimizing the risks, and personalized participation for teamwork must be emphasized. Based on this comparison, a RUP is selected, which is a methodology that allows organizing projects through phases with one or more iterations, besides having documentation as support for future reference systems. Finally, the mobile app is done as a result which is made up of different sections such as news, adoption, complaints and emergencies, donations, and user profile. Keywords: mobile app, RUP, foundation, programming language.Ítem Acceso Abierto Diseño de un plan estratégico digital para el complejo arqueológico de Ingapirca.(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2021-12-05) Clavijo Herrera, Kevin Fernando; Flores Urgiles, Cristina Mariuxi; 030263545-3Abstract This research is entitled "Design of a digital strategic plan for the Ingapirca Archaeological Complex", and aims to design an Information Technology Strategic Plan to help optimize the processes managed by the institution, through the formulation of IT strategies, making the best use of technological resources. For the design of the IT Strategic Plan, several methodologies and frameworks were analyzed that would allow the successful design of the plan, thus, the COBIT and ITIL frameworks were analyzed, which refer to IT service management and IT governance, the Balanced Scorecard oriented to business strategy and the PETI methodology, which has the formalism and the potential of expression necessary to manage and execute planning tasks. Having selected the PETI methodology, the four phases and 15 activities that comprise it were developed, from which the current IT situation, IT infrastructure, information systems, inventory of technological resources, institutional strategies, and documentation that the institution has to determine the institutional objectives were evaluated. Four IT strategies were proposed that are aligned with the objectives of the Ingapirca Archaeological Complex, each of these is detailed in the execution process, schedule of activities, investment, benefits, risk analysis, and improvement plan for each project. The objectives of this study were: a) to build a school intervention proposal for teaching programming through resources that contribute to the strengthening of logical reasoning using scratch and teaching methodologies, b) to conduct a theoretical study of programming tools for children and the importance of programming, c) to evaluate the development of students´ computational thinking through their scratch practices, d) to develop a proposal for using the scratch tool to improve children´ logical reasoning. Statistical analysis was carried out based on the surveys applied to the children on mathematical logical thinking, using a qualitative-quantitative methodology. The results obtained showed that scratch software improves children's comprehension capacity by providing systematic thinking and concluding that the educational tool improves children's reasoning creatively. The objectives of the study include: a) to stablish the state of art on the risks related to the use of social networks. b) to identify the methodological framework needed for the analyses of the risk associated with the use of social networks. c) to apply the risk analyses about the gathered information in order to determine the level of vulnerability of high school students before the threats generated by the use of social networks. d) to establish the controls that will allow to decrease the level of vulnerability of high school students before the threats generated by the use of social networks. An analysis through the application of a survey focused on technological safety was conducted through the open methodology MAGERIT, a risk analyses was stablished. Results showed that adolescents are vulnerable to the risks in the web, therefore, more control that allows to decrease the threats that they face daily is necessary.Ítem Acceso Abierto Análisis del uso de herramientas de comercio electrónico en las pymes comercializadoras del cantón Cañar.(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-03-12) Ortiz Zhao, Nataly Silvana; Cardenas Muñoz, Jorge Vinicio; 030294829-4ABSTRACT E-commerce or electronic commerce, nowadays, has become the new way of doing business in society. It is considered as one of the tools that allow businesses to acquire significant-competitive advantages to get sustainable growth within the market thanks to the many benefits that such innovation encompasses. Therefore, this research work aims at analyzing the usage of e-commerce tools within the marketing pymes from the Canar Canton. Thus, the documental-field research was used, as well as, the descriptive and analytical methods, these allowed both describing such tools and analyzing the gathered data to learn the current state of the marketing pymes from the above-mentioned canton concerning the usage of such e-commerce tools within their businesses. All of the information was gathered through both surveys and direct observation. Major results show that 77% of businesspeople from the Canar Canton use e-commerce within their businesses. Social networks such as Facebook (93%), WhatsApp (74%), and Instagram (47%) are the major tools to carry out e-commerce, thru activities such as offering, the marketing of the product to the people. Products are delivered to customers thru Servientrega and local delivery services from the canton where they work that are linked to such businesses to boost the local economy. This model will provide them with a competitive advantage by improving their public image and achieving greater confidence in their members and suppliers. On the other hand, BCP will also provide preventive management of IT risks that could affect its operations, so its correct implementation will prevent and minimize the losses of the organization in a mishap. The objectives were: a) Design a Business Continuity Plan model for the savings and credit cooperatives segment 2 of Canar canton by using recognized standards to guarantee the customers´ provision of the services, b) Conduct a theoretical study of the regulations of the business continuity plan, c) Identify the current situation of the savings and credit cooperatives of the Canar canton segment 2 with a Business Continuity Plan, d) Build a Business Continuity Plan model for the savings and credit cooperatives of the Canar canton segment 2 as a preventive tool to guarantee the continuity process in an existing incident. The descriptive method was used in this research and the IT area of the different cooperatives was taken as a sample for the model. The result was the Business Continuity Plan model for the savings and credit cooperatives segment 2 of the Canar canton, as a result, these financial institutions will benefit themselves by providing a guide to ensure IT continuity services. The objectives of this study were a). Conduct a theoretical study on the SDN networks architecture, management tools, protocols, and controllers, b). To design a test environment for a basic ISP and SDN network, c). Evaluate the performance of the network through the settings that allow the equipment connection. A qualitative approach was used in this research for describing the characteristics of the network equipment which involve Mikrotik Routerboard, computers, OpenFlow, Wimbox, virtual machines. They are interconnected and set up to provide internet service. The results showed the execution parameters, infrastructure, reuse, virtualization, rules applied to the basic ISP networks and SDN networks. Finally, both the obtained results and the conclusions will be discussed based on the raised objectives. The research aims at creating a Strategic Plan proposal for the Technologies to improve the Information Technology Management of the institution through aligning both the strategic business and the IT objectives. To design the strategic technology plan, it was necessary to base it on the PETI methodology, which has four phases that include the planning and monitoring tool for information technology projects. Keywords: strategic technology plan, PETI, GADÍtem Acceso Abierto Riesgos que afectan la disponibilidad de servicio en los proveedores de internet en los cantones Cañar, El Tambo y Suscal(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-05-20) Quizhpi Cazho, Lizardo Manuel; Pinos Castillo, Luis; 030291310-8ABSTRAC This article presents a study carried out in the Canar Canton with the participation of the (ISP) Internet Service Providers companies of the Canar, El Tambo, and Suscal cantons, to determine the Risks that affect the availability if the services they provide, based on a recognized methodology that serves as a reference for ISP administrators. The objectives of this study were: a) To carry out a theoretical study of the methodologies for risk analysis, b) To determine the technological risks that affect the availability of ISP services, c) To analyze the risks based on a methodology that includes the IT assets of internet service providers. Statistical analysis was carried out based on the ISO27001 standard domains focused on the information and communication technologies security, surveys were applied to the network administrators of each ISP, as a result the compliance of the domains was established, and by using the MARGERIT methodology, the critical assets for the ISPs are established and then a risk matrix is elaborated with the threats, impact and chances proposed by this methodologic, finally, the most critical IT asset risks that threaten the availability of the ISP’s service are determined. This will enable these companies to effectively manage the risks and guarantee the service continuity. Keywords: IT risks, threats, ISP.
