In this way, organizations have opted for the use of incentives as a practice to motivate employees and improve their satisfaction. Consequently, job satisfaction in companies is a crucial factor, and it is necessary to understand how incentives are related to it. In this context, this research’s central problem is understanding the satisfaction generated by work incentives in the seven savings and loan unions located in the canton of Saraguro. The methodology was descriptive, with a non-experimental, quantitative, and cross-sectional design. It included the collection of data through surveys administered to employees of the different savings and loan unions studied, followed by an analysis through the construction of indicators. This resulted in a job satisfaction index of 78%, with medium-high indexes in appreciation for the company and vacations, but low indexes in salary and pension plan or external insurance. It is possible to conclude that it is necessary to strengthen these last factors.

The methodology was based on identifying the company's problems in the Cuenca market. Thus, it was necessary to conduct a literature review that would show the main issues addressed by previous authors. On this basis, the strategic planning process was applied with the application of the organizational diagnosis, the Evaluation Matrix, and Internal and External Factors. Consequently, the structured interview of internal administrative control was applied to all staff part of the company. This resulted in the determination of financial and production areas with lower efficiency. Hence, the administrative control strategies were established by creating a strategic map aligned with the entity's objectives. In conclusion, the company's strategic planning application's validity is highlighted. Its implementation will allow it to generate growth and permanence in the market and position the company as the primary option for its customers.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEstrategias de Posicionamiento de las Organizaciones de Economía Popular y Solidaria Caso: Imagen Corporativa APDISA(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Ordóñez Granda, Karla Viviana; Matailo Morocho, John Vladimir; Cuadrado Sánchez, Gina Patricia; 0104668827; 0105228217La globalización y los avances tecnológicos motivan continuos cambios en las organizaciones, las cuales, se ven obligadas a adaptarse para lograr ventajas competitivas y mantenerse en el tiempo, donde, formular estrategias o contar con herramientas tendientes a orientar sus marcas a los consumidores hacia un posicionamiento ideal, es necesario. El objetivo es analizar el proceso de posicionamiento de la Asociación de personas con discapacidad del Azuay precisando estrategias a través del uso de su imagen corporativa. La metodología utilizada es de tipo descriptiva y aplicada con base en la investigación acción participativa que articula la investigación, participación y praxis; en el desarrollo de estrategias en función del proceso de posicionamiento con representantes de la asociación y actores de la economía popular y solidaria; validado por un modelo teórico de cuatro dimensiones, mediante entrevistas estructuradas a fin de extraer la perspectiva de expertos de mercadotecnia y administración, sobre la relación existente entre la gestión de la marca como estrategia de posicionamiento y los beneficios que esta genera. Entre los resultados, se encuentran las Estrategias para el Posicionamiento de la Marca, las cuales se orientan a realizar cambios en la imagen corporativa, lema comercial, la experiencia de la marca y la visión corporativa; en cuya validación los expertos concuerdan en un 84% que las mismas tienen una relación alta en la generación de beneficios, concluyendo que estas estrategias son indispensables para que las asociaciones puedan posicionarse dentro de los mercados competitivos del sector del área textil de la economía popular y solidaria.

The methodology was based on the identification of the dimensions and factors that contribute to Social Responsibility, for which a literature review was necessary to demonstrate the main points of attention addressed by previous authors. With this, we went on to apply a survey to people linked to companies in the metal-mechanical sector, in order to collect information on how these entities manage the field of Social Responsibility within their organization. This resulted in the establishment of indices for 5 dimensions, of which the dimension with the least attention was the environmental dimension. In conclusion, the metal-mechanic sector has adopted 71.67% of socially responsible practices as a sustainability strategy, the implementation and fulfilment of which contributes to generating growth, efficiency and effectiveness within the organizations, positioning the companies as the main option in the face of all competitors in the target market.

In this sense, intangible aspects such as organizational climate, internal image, and job satisfaction are overlooked, despite their positive impact on employees and enhancement of their work effectiveness. This research’s fundamental objective is to establish a job satisfaction index of workers in the metal-mechanical sector in the city of Cuenca as a predictor of their job performance. The methodological approach was non-experimental, with descriptive research and a cross-sectional field design. The data was obtained from 159 employees of companies in the metal mechanical sector in Cuenca. The results of the literature research revealed that the facets of job satisfaction drive employee productivity and positively influence performance dimensions. It is concluded that the job satisfaction index is average, e.g., an aspect that must be improved to maintain a healthy relationship between employees and achieve more significant work performance in organizations
