Resumen
The advance of technology has allowed changes to be made in oral rehabilitation and
dental esthetics, providing shorter working times and reducing the risks that occur when
using conventional materials for taking impressions, thus obtaining better results with
greater clarity and at the same time reducing the discomfort that the patient has at the
time of the impression. Two techniques can be used for smile design; analog and digital,
the first presents greater risks that the operator cannot control, as well as more work and
session time; on the other hand, the second shortens the session time and allows to
obtain a more aesthetic smile design according to the needs and physical characteristics
of the patient. This report describes oral rehabilitation in patients with dental wear. The
treatment was carried out using analogical and digital techniques, using conventional
waxing in the former and Exocad software in the latter. Finally, in both cases, the injection
method was used with high-load Flow resin.

El avance de la tecnología ha permitido realizar cambios en la rehabilitación oral y la
estética dental brindando menores tiempos de trabajo y disminuyendo los riesgos que
se presentan al momento de utilizar materiales convencionales para la toma de
impresiones, obteniendo así mejores resultados con mayor nitidez y a su vez reduciendo
las molestias que el paciente presenta al momento de la impresión. Existen dos técnicas
que se pueden emplear para el diseño de sonrisa; la analógica y la digital, la primera
presenta mayores riesgos que el operador no puede controlar, así como también mayor
tiempo de trabajo y de sesiones; en cambio la segunda acorta el tiempo de sesiones y
permite obtener un diseño de sonrisa más estético de acuerdo a las necesidades y
características físicas del paciente. Este reporte describe la rehabilitación bucal en
pacientes con desgaste dental. El tratamiento se optó por la técnica analógica y la digital
utilizando en la primera el encerado convencional y en la segunda el empleo del software
Exocad. Finalmente, en los dos casos se empleó el método de inyección con resina
Flow de alta carga.
