- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoDeterminación de la autopercepción de la estética facial entre pacientes de 20-30 años de edad, que acuden al distrito 03D01(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Arévalo Fernández, Pedro Alejandro; Vergara, Paúl; 0301945416; Ramírez, MarielaOBJECTIVE: The research aimed to establish self-perception of facial aesthetics among patients between 20 - 30 years of age, who come to the 03D01 district, AzoguesEcuador. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study had a quantitative research approach, with a descriptive, cross-sectional design, communicational survey technique and a field setting, 198 people who attended district 03D01 were surveyed in the period August-September 2019. Data collection was carried out by means of a survey and was processed for its respective analysis in Microsoft Excel 2013, SPSS version 22. RESULTS: The results showed that (60%) of the surveyed population considered to have a very acceptable aesthetic self-perception, in relation The predominant sex had the result that (64%) occurs in the female sex considering that they possess a very acceptable aesthetic self-perception, in relation to the age of the people surveyed, it was found that people who oscillate between the ages of 20 to 25 years old have (68%) with a very acceptable aesthetic self-perception, it was evident that people who live in rural areas in their Most with (64%) possess or in turn present a very acceptable aesthetic self-perception. Regarding facial aesthetic self-perception and educational level, the group of individuals with secondary education consider having a very acceptable facial aesthetics with a frequency of (56%). CONCLUSIONS: It was shown that there is a high percentage in patients who report having a very pleasant facial aesthetic having a high command of the female sex. In relation to factors such as origin, age and educational level, statistical tests showed that they are factors that influence facial aesthetic selfperception.
