It can affect anyone with a history of COVID-19, as well as asymptomatic patients. One of the least understood aspects of this condition is the musculoskeletal manifestations in post-COVID-19 patients. It is necessary to better understand these musculoskeletal alterations and develop effective treatment strategies. Objective: to describe the main musculoskeletal disorders that occur in post-COVID-19 patients. Methodology: through a bibliographic review in the JAMA, PubMed, Google Scholar, and Scopus databases over the last three years, 167 articles were identified, of which 28 were included for the preparation of this research. Results: the prevalence of the post-COVID-19 condition varies between 14.6% to 90%. The risk factors associated with this condition are advanced age, female gender, high BMI, smoking, previous comorbidities, hospitalized patients or those in ICU. The most common musculoskeletal disorders in post-COVID-19 patients are fatigue, myalgia, arthralgia, lower back pain, and cervical pain. Less frequently, pain in the knee, hand, and shoulder, as well as muscle atrophy or weakness
