Objective: To evaluate the risk factors for non-communicable diseases in inhabitants of Déleg Canton from May to October 2022. Methodology: A non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted with 250 adult participants between 20 and 64 years of age from Déleg canton by simple random probability sampling. Results: Prevalent age range 50-59 years, female sex, marital status married/partner, high school education, rural residence, profession farmer, merchant and housewife, mestizo ethnicity. The most prevalent (NCDs) were: hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and arterial hypertension according to risk factors (27,6%), sedentary lifestyle (28.8%),consuming legumes and animals foods seven days a week (56.80%), consuming industrialized foods, (28.0%) smoking, (23.6%) ingesting alcoholic beverages, (32.1%) consuming coffee,(81.6%) drinking carbonated beverages, and (6%) drug consumption, according to nutritional status a mean of BMI 23.9 kg/m2 was found. Conclusions: It is essential to perform actions that help reduce the global impact of NCDs, focusing on the general population to reduce the associated risk.
