Diseño del colector marginal de la quebrada Cuzhcurrum del catón El Tambo, provincia del Cañar

Abstract

The present project is part of the titling process prior to obtaining the title of civil engineer, the same, contemplates the design of the marginal collector to the Cuzhcurrum gulch of the canton El Tambo, province of Cañar, for the sanitation and environmental recovery of this water receiver. In chapter 1 we can find the description of the study area, as well as the objectives, the justification and the scope that this work will have; The second chapter refers to the theoretical foundation since its design is about a combined sewerage system, thus exposing the characteristics of wastewater, the different sewer systems and service levels, hydraulic parameters, maximum and minimum speeds, design of spillways, as well as methods of estimating the future population. In the third chapter we talk about preliminary studies such as topographic, hydrological and hydraulic, soil mechanics, water characterization in the stream, and socio-economic aspects of the population and territorial component, this permits, at the beginning to have a vision of the current situation and the existing problems, and at the same time the tools which are necessary for the optimal design of this system. In chapter 4 since the information was collected and based on the standard CPE-INEN-005-9-1, the Territorial Planning Plan 2015 of the Canton El Tambo and the INEC, all parameters, variables and hydrosanitary calculations were determined, with the purpose of measuring the elements of the aforementioned system. In the fifth chapter we proceed to the design of the collector, also exposing the results of it. In the sixth chapter the referential budget and the technical specifications for the execution of this project are detailed. Finally, in chapter 7 the conclusions that were obtained when carrying out this project, which respond to the objectives and recommendations for the correct execution of the work, the construction plans and annexes are attached at the end of this work.
