| dc.description | OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de ingreso económico y la Alfabetización sobre salud bucal en adultos mayores de 65 años de edad de la Parroquia Hermano Miguel en la Ciudad de Cuenca 2017. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Enfoque: cuantitativo, diseño de Investigación: caso control, nivel de investigación: relacional, tipo de investigación, por el ámbito: de campo, por la técnica: Comunicacional, por la temporalidad: Transversal Retrospectiva. Se aplicó un total de 407 encuestas, y mediante fórmula de conveniencia se obtuvo una muestra de 90 con 45 casos y controles. Los criterios de inclusión abarcan a personas mayores a 65 años residentes de la Parroquia Hermano Miguel; se excluyen las personas con título de odontólogo y médico. La encuesta utilizada es tipo cuestionario de STOFHLA. Se determina la relación entre el nivel de ingreso económico y alfabetización en salud bucal mediante la utilización de ODDS RATIO. RESULTADOS: la muestra fue de 90 con 45 casos y controles, 26 casos femeninos y 19 casos masculinos, el ODDS RATIO fue de 1.14. CONCLUSIÓN: no existe relación entre nivel de ingreso económico y la alfabetización en salud bucal, ya que el ODDS RATIO es de 1.14 | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | AIM: to determine the relationship between the level of economic income and oral health literacy in adults over 65 years of age in the Brother Miguel parish in the City of Cuenca 2017. MATERIALS AND METHODS: approach: quantitative, research design: case control, level of research: relational, type of research, by field: field, by technique: communicational, by temporality: transversal retrospective. A total of 407 surveys were applied, and through a convenience formula, a sample of 90 was obtained with 45 cases and controls. The criteria for inclusion include people over 65 years of age living in the Hermano Miguel parish; Excluded are people with a dentist and medical degree. The survey used is a STOFHLA questionnaire type. The relationship between the level of economic income and oral health literacy is determined through the use of ODDS RATIO. RESULTS: the sample was 90 with 45 cases and controls, 26 female cases and 19 male cases, the ODDS RATIO was 1.14.
