dc.description	El presente trabajo de investigación presenta la ampliación de la red de alcantarillado sanitario y de la planta de depuración de aguas residuales y la evaluación del sistema existente de la comunidad de San Pablo, Parroquia Chicán, Cantón Paute. El proyecto de ampliación consiste en dos tipos de alcantarillado: Convencional y Condominial. Para el diseño de estos sistemas inicialmente se procedió con la recolección de información referente a levantamiento topográfico y estudio de suelos; además se realizó una encuesta socioeconómica que nos permitió obtener los datos necesarios para ejecutar el diseño hidráulico del sistema de alcantarillado. Se levantó el catastro de la red existente con la finalidad de verificar su funcionamiento y para la evaluación de la planta depuradora se partió de un análisis de calidad de las aguas residuales y del análisis hidráulico para determinar su eficiencia. Se realizó la evaluación ambiental mediante la ficha del Sistema Único de Información Ambiental (SUIA) que describe los componentes afectados del lugar para luego implementar medidas de prevención durante las etapas de construcción del proyecto. Se realizó el presupuesto para analizar las inversiones requeridas por los tipos de colectores y se estableció los costos básicos de operación y mantenimiento para estimar la tarifa referencial de agua potable y saneamiento para la sostenibilidad del servicio, valor que llega a USD$8.67 por familia por mes. Al implementarse el proyecto con estas características se brindará cobertura al 100% de la población con un costo por usuario de USD$691.7, y se considera accesible para mejorar la calidad de vida en la comunidad y la protección del ecosistema del sector.	es_ES
dc.description.resumen	The present research project presents the expansion of the sanitary sewer network and the wastewater treatment plant and the evaluation of the existing system of the San Pablo community, Chánán Parish, Paute Canton. The expansion project consists of two types of sewerage: Conventional and Condominial. For the design of these systems, we initially proceeded with the collection of information regarding topographic survey and soil study; In addition, a socioeconomic survey was conducted that allowed us to obtain the necessary data to execute the hydraulic design of the sewerage system. The cadastre of the existing network was surveyed in order to verify its operation and for the evaluation of the wastewater treatment plant, it was based on a quality analysis of wastewater and hydraulic analysis to determine its efficiency. The environmental assessment was carried out through the Unique Environmental Information System (SUIA) file that describes the affected components of the site and then implement preventive measures during the construction stages of the project. The budget was made to analyze the investments required by the types of collectors and the basic operation and maintenance costs were established to estimate the reference rate of drinking water and sanitation for the sustainability of the service, value that reaches USD $ 8.67 per family per month. When the project is implemented with these characteristics, coverage will be provided to 100% of the population with a cost per user of USD $ 691.7, and it is considered accessible to improve the quality of life in the community and the protection of the ecosystem of the sector.	es_ES
