dc.description	El presente trabajo investigativo trata acerca de la migración, con un enfoque hacia la arquitectura. Este fenómeno no es nuevo, pero recientemente se ha vuelto notorio en los entornos rurales de Latinoamérica. En torno a ello, ciertas organizaciones, grupos investigativos y académicos, se han dedicado a estudiar entre otras cosas, las características formales a nivel de fachada de la denominada “arquitectura de migrantes” ó “arquitectura de remesas”. Resulta importante conocer cómo se conciben estas edificaciones, sus elementos y recursos que emplean. A partir de la información generada se determinó un conjunto de variables, las cuales sirvieron de guía para identificar esta condición en la zona de estudio (Sigcho, Sinincay, Cuenca-Ecuador). Los resultados determinaron que existe un 61% de presencia de las variables consideradas en las viviendas analizadas, es decir existe una “incidencia notoria”. Se concluye que la “arquitectura de migrantes” del lugar analizado, comparte muchos rasgos en común con la que se desarrolla en otros entornos de Latinoamérica.	es_ES
dc.description.resumen	The present research work deals with migration, with a focus on architecture. This phenomenon is not new, but recently it has become notorious in rural areas of Latin America. Around this, certain organizations, research groups and academics, have devoted themselves to studying, among other things, the formal characteristics at the façade level of the so-called "architecture of migrants" or "architecture of remittances". It is important to know how these buildings are conceived, their elements and resources that they use. From the information generated, a set of variables was determined, which served as a guide to identify this condition in the study area (Sigcho, Sinincay, Cuenca-Ecuador). The results determined that there is a 61% presence of the variables considered in the dwellings analyzed, that is, there is a "notorious incidence". It is concluded that the "architecture of migrants" of the place analyzed, shares many features in common with the one that is developed in other Latin American environments.	es_ES
