dc.descriptionEl principal objetivo de esta investigación es instarurar el derecho a la eutanasia como una normativa para proteger los derechos de las personas con enfermedades catastróficas enfocados a la dignidad humana, el derecho a la libre elección y el derecho del buen vivir, para hacer prevalecer el derecho a una muerte digna. En este sentido se ha realizado el análisis comparado de tres sentencias colombianas en las cuales se puede observar el progreso que ha tenido la eutanasia en este país siendo el único pionero en América Latina en incurrir en esta práctica; obteniendo como resultado la creación de procedimientos, protocolos y métodos que han ayudado a personas con enfermedades catastróficas a tener una muerte digna, es por esta razón que se ha notado en estos últimos años el incremento de personas a favor de la eutanasia y de las personas que han incurrido en está práctica. En esta investigación se da a conocer los dolores incontrolables, los efectos secundarios por la aplicación de medicamentos y tratamientos que las personas con cáncer gástrico tipo IV sufren sin tener ninguna expectativa de recuperación o de vida por lo que sienten la necesidad de elegir voluntariamente la aplicación de este procedimiento para tener una muerte digna.es_ES
dc.description.resumenThe main goal of this investigation is to establish the right to euthanasia as a regulation to protect the right of people who suffer from a catastrophic disease focusing on the human dignity, the right to choose freely, and the right to the well-living in order to make prevail the right to a death with dignity. In this sense the analysis was carried out comparing three Colombian verdicts in which the progress that euthanasia in this country has gad can be observed being this the only pioneer in Latin America to incur into this practice, getting as results the creation of procedures, protocols, and methods that have helped people who suffer fron catastrophic diseases to have a death with dignity, is for this reason that it has been noticed in the last years an increment in the number of people who favor euthanasia as well as the number of people who gave chosen this practice. This investigation shows the uncontrolled pains, the secondary effects for the application of medicine and treatment to people who suffer from type IV gastric cancer go thorough without having any hope to cure or live feeling a necessity to voluntarily choose this type of procedure in order to have a death with dignity.es_ES
