Emergencias habitacionales desde la perspectiva Ciborg

Abstract

An architectural analysis of high-rise houses in Cuenca found a need for more consideration for the new criteria for residents. This lack of consideration is evident due to the increasing dependence on technology, which brings with it the presence of "cyborgs" - organisms that generate an infrastructure both in themselves and their domestic environments. This work aims to identify these needs through a literature review, addressing comfort and the interconnection between humans and technology, considering contemporary family models. Subsequently, the most recent case study was redesigned with the identified parameters. The preliminary design will not only present a transformation in living spaces but also aims to change traditional approaches of domestic architectural design. This new paradigm pretends to satisfy technological needs and improve general functionality,thereby raising residents' quality of life. Essentially, this study promotes the idea of redirecting architectural design thinking toward the idea of inhabiting a cyborg.
