dc.descriptionUn Sistema de Agua Potable es aquel que mediante un tratamiento consigue obtener que el agua cruda sea apta para consumo humano. La dotación de agua potable es un tema muy importante que en la última década ha sido la preocupación de las autoridades de cada sector rural de la provincia del Azuay, tal es el caso de la municipalidad del cantón Sigsig que ha puesto énfasis en solucionar los problemas que se presentan en el caso particular de las comunidades de Tullupamba, Chobshi y Narig que son objeto de este estudio. Para el eficaz desarrollo del estudio, se realizaron trabajos de campo y escritorio. En campo se ha realizado una evaluación de las condiciones actuales del sistema en lo referente a infraestructura, características de la fuente de abastecimiento y el aspecto socioeconómico en la comunidad, para ello se han realizado apreciaciones visuales, ensayos in situ, encuestas y muestreos que se han complementado con análisis de laboratorio. El trabajo de escritorio se ha desarrollado en función a la información obtenida por el trabajo de campo, se analizó a la comunidad y se han determinado bases de diseño para el sistema de agua. Se planteó un estudio de alternativas técnicas y se optó por un sistema no convencional de tratamiento. Mediante el análisis de las tecnologías existentes y sus respectivos costos de implementación, mantenimiento y operación, ha sido posible establecer el diseño más adecuado para el sistema de abastecimiento Cacique Duma de la parroquia San Sebastián.es_ES
dc.description.resumenA water system is one that manages to obtain through treatment of raw water to be safe for human consumption. Provision of potable water is an extremely important issue in the last decade and has been the concern of the authorities of each rural area in the province of Azuay, as the case of the Municipality of the Canton Sigsig which has placed emphasis in solving the problems that occur in the particular case of the communities of Tullupamba, Chobshi and Narig which are the subject in this study. For an effective development of the study, field work and desk were performed. In the field an assessment has been made of the current conditions of the system in relation to infrastructure, characteristics of the supply source and the socio-economic aspect in the community, for it has been made visual assessments, in situ tests, surveys and samplings been complemented by laboratory analysis. The desk work has been developed based on the information obtained by the field work, analyzed the community and have given design basis for the water system. A study of technical alternatives arises and opted for an unconventional treatment system. By analyzing existing technologies and their implementation costs, maintenance and operation, it has been possible to establish the most appropriate design for the supply system Cacique Duma of the San Sebastian parish.es_ES
