Conducta en la consulta odntológica en niños según la escala de Franhl de la escuela Los Cañaris, Azogues, 2018

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To identify the conduct which they present/display the children of 3 to 12 years in the dentistry appointment according to the scale of Frankl of the school the Cañarís, Mercuries, 2018. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An investigation of field, descriptive, observational was made and crosssectional, in children of 3 to 12 years of the School the Cañarís of the parish Luis Cordero of the city of Azogues, the sample was constituted by 266 children, who were taken to the Center of Health of the place before mentioned, where was applied the scale of Frankl to identify the conduct of the students, the variables to take into account were: sex, age, behavior and the procedure to be made went a prophylaxis, same that was made by dentist of the mentioned health house. Chi was applied square to determine if it exists statistical difference of sex and age according to the behavior. RESULTS: One obtained the following results: 44% positive, definitively positive 24%, 20% negative and definitively negative 12%.
