Resumen
OBJECTIVE: To identify the conduct which they present/display the children of 3 to 12
years in the dentistry appointment according to the scale of Frankl of the school the
Cañarís, Mercuries, 2018. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An investigation of field,
descriptive, observational was made and crosssectional, in children of 3 to 12 years of the
School the Cañarís of the parish Luis Cordero of the city of Azogues, the sample was
constituted by 266 children, who were taken to the Center of Health of the place before
mentioned, where was applied the scale of Frankl to identify the conduct of the students,
the variables to take into account were: sex, age, behavior and the procedure to be made
went a prophylaxis, same that was made by dentist of the mentioned health house. Chi
was applied square to determine if it exists statistical difference of sex and age according
to the behavior. RESULTS: One obtained the following results: 44% positive, definitively
positive 24%, 20% negative and definitively negative 12%.

OBJETIVO: Identificar la conducta que presentan los niños de 3 a 12 años en la cita
odontológica según la escala de Frankl de la escuela Los Cañarís, Azogues, 2018.
MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Se realizó una investigación de campo, descriptivo,
observacional y transversal, en niños de 3 a 12 años de la Escuela Los Cañarís de la
parroquia Luis Cordero de la ciudad de Azogues, la muestra estuvo constituida por 266
niños, que fueron llevados al Centro de Salud del lugar antes mencionada, donde se aplicó
la escala de Frankl para identificar la conducta de los escolares, las variables a tomar en
cuenta fueron: sexo, edad, comportamiento y el procedimiento a realizarse fue una
profilaxis, misma que fue realizada por el odontólogo de la mencionada casa de salud. Se
aplicó el chi cuadrado con el propósito de determinar si existe diferencia estadística del
sexo y edad de acuerdo al comportamiento. RESULTADOS: Se obtuvo los siguientes
resultados: 44% positivo, 24% definitivamente positivo, 20% negativo y 12%
definitivamente negativo.
