Resumen
The objective of the research is to determine the factors associated with pregnancy in adolescents, attended at the health center # 4, Carlos Elizalde; Cuenca September 2018 - February 2019. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive of cross section. With a sample of 101 pregnant teenagers. As an instrument for data collection, a survey was applied, previously validated by experts. The descriptive data were analyzed in the SPSS program, version 24, obtaining results that are presented in tables. Results 74.3% of the respondents belong to the age between 17 to 19 years old, 42.6% are single, 36.6% completed high school, 71.3% reside in the urban area; their menarche began between 10 to 13 years with 75.2%, they began their first sexual relationship at 14 to 16 years with 72.3%, 99% was not a victim of sexual abuse, the sexual relationship was by own will with 100% ; 37.6% have no family history of pregnancy, 51.5% live with the spouse / partner; 57.4% have friends of their age pregnant and 60.4% know about the condom. Conclusion despite the fact that the health area has focused on providing informative and prevention talks, there are still cases of teenage pregnancy.

El objetivo de la investigación es determinar los factores asociados a embarazo en adolescentes, atendidas en el centro de salud #4, Carlos Elizalde; Cuenca septiembre 2018 – febrero 2019. La Metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, descriptiva de corte transversal. Con una muestra de 101 adolescentes embarazadas. Como instrumento para recolección de datos se aplicó una encuesta, previamente validada por expertos. Los datos descriptivos se analizaron en el programa SPSS versión 24, obteniendo resultados que se presentan en tablas. Resultados un 74.3% de las encuestadas pertenecen a la edad entre 17 a 19 años, 42.6% son solteras, el 36.6% culminaron la secundaria, 71.3% residen a la zona urbana; su menarquia inicio entre 10 a 13 años con el 75.2%, iniciaron su primera relación sexual a los 14 a 16 años con el 72.3%, el 99% no fue víctima de abuso sexual, la relación sexual fue por voluntad propia con un 100%; el 37.6% no tiene antecedentes familiares de embarazo, el 51.5% viven con el esposo/conviviente; el 57.4% tienen amigas de su edad embarazadas y el 60.4% conocen sobre el preservativo. Conclusión a pesar de que el área de salud se ha enfocado en brindar charlas informativas y de prevención se siguen dando casos de embarazo en adolescentes.
