To evaluate the effect of deslorelin acetate (DA) applied in the transfer of embryos obtained by Multiple Ovulation Embryo Transfer (MOET) in vivo on progesterone concentration, the morphometric characteristics of the corpus luteum and the pregnancy rate in crossbreed recipients, 19 heifers were studied, 9 of which received doses of 1µg/kg of DA (T1) and the rest as a control (T2). Estrus synchronization and fixed-time embryo transfer techniques were applied. Progesterone levels were determined at the time of transfer, every 12 hours, and on days 14 and 21 after the procedure. Morphometric characteristics and blood supply of the corpus luteum were evaluated every 12 hours after transfer using Doppler ultrasound. The results showed a positive effect of DA on the progesterone values of the T1 group (18.39 ng/ml). The pregnancy rate was 30%, 3 in each group. The corpus luteum (CL) size was 2.31 mm in the T1 group. The mean percentage of blood supply to the corpus luteum remained relatively stable and increasing. In conclusion, it is observed that the administration of DA exerts a positive effect on increasing the quality of the CL, with a certain delay in follicular growth.
