This research was conducted due to the need to analyze the different legal regulations, such as the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, in which the constitutional rights of Ecuadorians are enshrined, as well as the LaborCode, which typifies the form of hiring people, and the activities prohibited for minors. The Organic Code of Childhood and Adolescence was also studied in its part referring to minors about their rights and prohibitions regarding the labor aspect. The research work was performed based on research methods that seek to analyze the constitutional law, determining that mining activities are a dangerous activity and that it is one of the groups of work not allowed to minors.
