The administrative inquiry process in Ecuador is based on the consolidation of the sanctioning legal procedures that go through the public administration; therefore, its fundamental principles are based on organizing, precautionary and effectively maintaining the development of the public sector, as well as building trust in individuals and correctly applying the laws. However, the process is affected by the inadequate management of its principles. Consequently, this investigation had as main purpose to analyze the violation of due process in the administrative inquiries processed in the Intercultural and Bilingual Educational District 15D01 of Tena city during the 2016-2017 period. This study was carried out through a qualitative type documentary methodology with the inductive-deductive method; in order to know the legal regulation that directs the administrative inquiry, resulting the existence of irregularities in the application of due process in the administrative inquiries.
