Ítem Acceso Abierto Optimización del proceso de gestión de otorgamiento de créditos de consumo, en la banca ecuatoriana, aplicando metodología Lean(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Calderón Muñoz, María Daniela; Flores Brito, Paola Alexandra; Barahona Vásquez, Pablo Eduardo; 0105163828; 0107549578The objective of this article focuses on generating a management process for consumer credit granting by applying the Lean methodology and its principles to implement effective and efficient processes to satisfy the customer's needs. In this document, we will first understand the basic concepts of the Lean methodology. Progressively we will go into the proper implementation of the transformational model that starts with a preparation in which the product or service to be analyzed and improved is defined; in this case, we will delve into the consumer loans granted by an Ecuadorian bank. Identify the cause of the problem and its current performance where the main critical factors impacting quality will be visible. In this way, we will have an orderly vision of the components of the process where we enter a design phase to propose improvement ideas to achieve the desired results, and these same ideas will be tested in a phase that we call a pilot. At this point, the necessary adjustments will be made until reaching a level of satisfaction that gives us the peace of mind to massify or implement the solution throughout the organization. From this stage on, the management indicators will demonstrate the new performance. We must emphasize that this work is not only focused on process improvement; it encompasses three elements: Operational Process, Performance Management, and Mindsets and Behaviors.
