Ítem Acceso Abierto Propueata metodológica para el emplazamiento del nuevo cementerio en el cantón Biblián(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Cabrera Medina, María Dolores; Verdugo Romero, Lauro Miltón; 0302596861; ., .This research work objective is to develop a methodological proposal for the location of a new cemetery in Biblián, based on the identification and evaluation of variables. This research is presented as a practical solution to the upcoming collapse of the cemetery due to its lack of space for burials, in addition to other problems that accelerate its deterioration. This study is an experimental model that is guided by different national and international definitions assigned to the location methodology. It uses as instruments the theoretical study of cemeteries and the analysis of the norms that regulate the general and specific dispositions of sites for the correct location and operation of funeral services, these references serve as indicators for the classification of properties. Model development uses geographic information systems (GIS) to locate which have with regulatory specifications; Furthermore, through the use of geolocation systems, it is possible to locate these properties for field evaluation. As a result, the location of different sites that meet the aforementioned criteria is presented, on a larger or smaller scale. Each selection indicates its strengths and limitations for future design projects. The results show that it is possible to improve the conditions of the cemetery, from the construction of new equipment at a previously selected and studied site. It is concluded that the location models are feasible proposals to locate and reserve sites that have the essential characteristics for equipment of different uses.
