Ítem Acceso Abierto Desarrollo de las Capacidades Coordinativas en el proceso de iniciación deportiva del Fútbol(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Culcay Carrión, Marcos Fabián; González, Nanci; 0104039540; ., .Coordination skills allow soccer players to adapt smoothly, developing different movements in the body parts to build the reactions and sports actions; these capacities will help soccer players to perform well in the initiation stage of soccer, which is considered a collective sport since it is played between two teams of 11 players each. The referees are responsible for these sporting events and enforce the current rules and regulations. It is the most popular in the world because it is practiced by young and old alike. This research aims to establish the incidence of coordination skills capacities with the mastery of the technical fundamentals of soccer in children between 8 and 11 years of age at the Suárez Sports Initiation School in Cuenca city. The methodology was of a non-experimental type, with a cross-sectional descriptive scope and quantitative approach, applying the KTK test to the 22 players of the club who are part of the sample and, therefore, the population. The current technical, physical, and psychological level in soccer is evidenced. Finally, it is concluded that the development of physical coordination skills greatly supports the soccer school coaching staff and the players since if they master each, they can improve their results in different competitions. Players could reach local, national, and international achievements and simultaneously be living examples for the next generations.
