Currently, rural communities maintain child-rearing practices handed down from generation to generation. The study will provide a theoretical basis for the importance of early stimulation in children's motor and language development from 0 to 1 year of age. In the Chiviaza parish of the Limón Indanza canton, the study determined the importance of early stimulation in the motor and language development of children from 0 to 1 year of age by analyzing the factors of the rural reality, the living conditions within the home, and the support they have from the public sector. A descriptive methodology of quantitative explorative approach was implemented to achieve this goal, using surveys and documentary review. The project results will provide information on early stimulation in this sector and the needs of parents in the development of their children in their first year of life.
