The present investigation was oriented to visualize the labor stability of the domestic employees before and after that April 20, 2015, when the Organic Law for Labor Justice and Recognition of Work in the Home was published in the Official Registry N 0 483, with the purpose of detecting the possible affectation to it. Information was collected from the Integrated System of Knowledge and Social Statistics (SiCES), the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (NEC), the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), the Ministry of Labor and the National Union of Remunerated Domestic Workers. Ecuador (SINUTRHE, 2016), the National Union of Domestic Workers and Allied Workers (UNTHA), as well as lawyers in free exercise in the city of Cuenca; This allowed us to conclude that the job security of domestic workers has been affected after the enactment of the aforementioned law, in addition to the existence of evidence that labor rights of these workers are not 100% respected.
