Cañar-Ecuador(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-09-07) Morocho Pichazaca, Luis Miguel; Pinos Castillo, Luis; 035002670-4ABSTRACT This project aims to design a geolocation system prototype by means of GIS cloud tools for the Flashnet.Cañar-Ecuador company; to do this, the cascade methodology was carried out fulfilling with each of its phases and using a web service for the customer´s data storage, incidents and users. The visual studio community was used as it is a free tool which allows the creation of applications and services in the cloud, as well as C# as its programming language. The development of the application is based on a series of steps that allows to generate a coherent set for the geolocation system, being its focus the geo-referenced data. A study was carried out by means of an interview with the manager of the company in order to correctly design the system to benefit the FlashNet Internet provider where the lack of the application to improve the service provided was verified. As a result of the system, the customers´ visualization and incidents in the network were gotten, that is why, the testing of the prototype design during phase 3 of the proposed methodology was carried out, it is also important to emphasize that it has a password login for the safety of the company and if prototype is requested in the future, it will be hosted in the GitHub repository. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoPrototipo de un aplicativo móvil de geolocalización del recolector de desechos en base a su recorrido para los usuarios de la EMMAIPC-EP.(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-10-15) Solórzano Espinoza, Bryan Stalin; Pinos Castillo, Luis; 030214645-1ABSTRACT This article seeks to design a mobile geolocation prototype for garbage trucks based on their routes and to be used for the EMMAIPC-EP company users to identify the truck’s arrival at its location, the type of waste, and the appropriate schedule according to its route. The prototype has been carried out through the Mobile-D methodology, and as its programming language tools such as Android Studio and Java were used, a REST API code in PHP programming language and the development of a desktop information system in Java programming language were also used to interact with the database. It allows to create, update, delete, search and display records of travel routes, collection vehicles, users, zones, sub-zones and additional collection fields; storing this data in MySQL using the Traccar Open Source server to send and get the geolocation data from the GPS device. Results show that once the mobile geolocation prototype for garbage trucks is carried out, the EMMAIPC-EP company and users, in general, would benefit. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoPrototipo de una aplicación móvil con sig para el control de usuarios del cantón el tambo por nap georeferenciado de la red de fibra óptica de milenium computer Cañar(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-09-15) Paucar Montero, John Armando; Pinos Castillo, Luis; 030256766-4ABSTRACT This project aims to design a mobile app prototype which allows locating the users of the Millenium Computers company in El Tambo canton. The waterfall methodology and its 5 phases: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance were used. Likewise, android studio tools with Java programming language and SQLite for data storage were applied. A feasibility study was conducted at the internet provider company in order to determine the feasibility of the prototype implementation and the ISP technologies to be used. It was proved that an application to users´ location is required in order to solve incidents in the fiber optic network. The mobile prototype allows to visualize attended and unattended incidents as well as the customer´s data and routes by using google maps API, it is worth mentioning that single tests during the third phase (implementation) of the waterfall methodology were carried out for its verification. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoRiesgos que afectan la disponibilidad de servicio en los proveedores de internet en los cantones Cañar, El Tambo y Suscal(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-05-20) Quizhpi Cazho, Lizardo Manuel; Pinos Castillo, Luis; 030291310-8ABSTRAC This article presents a study carried out in the Canar Canton with the participation of the (ISP) Internet Service Providers companies of the Canar, El Tambo, and Suscal cantons, to determine the Risks that affect the availability if the services they provide, based on a recognized methodology that serves as a reference for ISP administrators. The objectives of this study were: a) To carry out a theoretical study of the methodologies for risk analysis, b) To determine the technological risks that affect the availability of ISP services, c) To analyze the risks based on a methodology that includes the IT assets of internet service providers. Statistical analysis was carried out based on the ISO27001 standard domains focused on the information and communication technologies security, surveys were applied to the network administrators of each ISP, as a result the compliance of the domains was established, and by using the MARGERIT methodology, the critical assets for the ISPs are established and then a risk matrix is elaborated with the threats, impact and chances proposed by this methodologic, finally, the most critical IT asset risks that threaten the availability of the ISP’s service are determined. This will enable these companies to effectively manage the risks and guarantee the service continuity. Keywords: IT risks, threats, ISP.
