Ítem Acceso Abierto “Incidencias socioeconómicas del proyecto comunitario Chaullayacu de Guachapala-Azuay, año 2023.”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2025) Sánchez Sánchez , Claudia Cecilia; López Castillo, John Edwin; 0107048951The research aimed to identify the socioeconomic impact of the “Chaullayacu” Community Project in Guachapala, Azuay, 2023, with a focus on its influence on the quality of life of the beneficiary population. A mixed-methodological approach with a non-experimental cross-sectional design was employed, utilizing a questionnaire administered to a purposively selected sample of 23 individuals. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis with the SPSS software, and the reliability of the instrument was assessed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which obtained a score of 0.887, indicating excellent reliability. The findings showed that the project had a greater impact on the social sphere than on the economic one, highlighting improvements in social cohesion, community participation, and the emotional wellness of families. Likewise, activities such as training and the construction of the iconic "World's Longest Plow" generated a commitment from community leaders to address migration issues and promote sustainable development. Finally, it was concluded that the project has strengthened the social fabric and improved the quality of life of the beneficiaries; however, it is necessary to continue promoting initiatives that positively impact the economic benefits. Furthermore, it is recommended that training and promoting collaborative work between the community and institutions continue to ensure the long-term success of the implemented initiatives and minimize family migration.
