Ítem Acceso Abierto “Influencia de la cultura cooperativa en el compromiso, desempeño y satisfacción laboral en cooperativas de ahorro y crédito en Cuenca-Ecuador, periodo 2021-2023.”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2025) Solá Crespo , Diego Santiago; Cantos Ochoa , Marcos Eduardo; 0104512496The sharing economy, which in theory should promote collaboration and teamwork, has currently given rise to economic models prioritizing maximizing production and efficiency over employee well-being. In this sense, this study aims to establish the impact of cooperative culture on the commitment, performance, and job satisfaction of employees at Savings and Credit Cooperatives in Cuenca, Ecuador, from 2021 to 2023. For this analysis, a quantitative methodology was applied to determine the dimensions of cooperative culture: solidarity, democracy, autonomy and self-management, training and education, and social commitment. It also explains how these factors impact the work performed within these organizations. The findings revealed that autonomy and self-management, as well as training and education, are closely linked to employee commitment, performance, and satisfaction. This reinforces the idea that a cooperative culture is an alternative for improving motivation, productivity, and workplace satisfaction. In designing management strategies, the results of this study provide a more practical framework for creating an optimized work environment and improving the operational performance of credit unions in the local context.
