The purpose of this research is to analyze consumer behavior in relation to furniture made of post-pandemic melamine in the cantons of Biblián, Azogues and Cañar. The methodological aspect responds to an exploratory and descriptive research with a quantitative approach of a cross-cutting and non-experimental axis of a non-probabilistic type. For the collection of information, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, applied to 382 inhabitants of Biblián, Azogues and Cañar. Among the most relevant results, 60% have bought melamine furniture, of which 47% state that they do so because of the elegance that it denotes. 52% state that melamine furniture is better than traditional furniture. It is concluded that furniture made of melamine has a great acceptance in the market, due to its unique characteristics such as elegance, which reveals a great business opportunity in the present sector.

Despite this, before the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not widely used, so as a result of this event, the inclination for digital media increased. The purpose of this article is to analyze trust in electronic means of payment as a determining factor in e-commerce. A post-pandemic look at Azogues and Biblián, Ecuador. The research responds to a quantitative methodological approach with an exploratory and descriptive scope, of a probabilistic type, with a transversal axis and of a non-experimental nature. The collection of information was obtained through the measurement instrument, survey, applied to 380 inhabitants of the cantons of Azogues and Biblián. The main results obtained were that 59% of the inhabitants do make purchases online, of which 60% do so with a frequency of every two or three months, where the most used means of payment are transfers or deposits, in addition , it follows that 47% of people intend to increase online purchases. It is concluded that in the Ecuadorian context there is confidence in electronic payment methods with a view to increasing their purchase frequency after two years, which denotes an opportunity for local businesses to implement new technological sales strategies in order to reach more competitive levels in the market and thus strengthen its profitability by reactivating its economy.
- ÍtemAcceso Abierto“La prospectiva de los emprendimientos a partir del covid-19 en Gualaceo, Ecuador”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Morocho Guncay, John Augusto; Quevedo Barros, Manuel Rafael; 0106195266; ., .The changes and transformations derived from the COVID-19 pandemic on the enterprises in Gualaceo canton led to a rethinking of the traditional business models, where they had to adapt to technological trends not to reduce their income. Thus, this study aims to establish these enterprises’ prospective after the pandemic. A methodology based on an exploratory and descriptive scope was used, with a quantitative approach with transversal temporality and a sample of 209 enterprises in the Gualaceo canton. The results showed that 65% of the entrepreneurs consider that the enterprise provides social recognition and do not evidence financial institution's support. Thus, entrepreneurship is perceived as a viable alternative to reduce the high unemployment rates and the importance of ICTs for developing virtual commerce comparable to traditional marketing methods.

The methodology included a positivist theoretical approach, an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational research design and was carried out at the level of potential service consumers in Azogues. The analysis population comprised 70,054 individuals, and a sample size of 382 subjects was determined using a critical value of 1.96 and a confidence level of 95%. An expert-validated questionnaire was applied to collect the data, and a Cronbach reliability coefficient of 0.760 was obtained, indicating adequate internal consistency of the questions used. The descriptive statistics reflected that the respondents’ responses vary concerning variables such as commercial viability, supply, demand, prices, and marketing. A normality test was carried out where the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was applied, which indicated that the variables follow a non-normal distribution, so it was decided to use the Spearman correlation test. The results revealed a high correlation and statistical significance between the independent variables (supply, demand, prices, marketing) and the commercial viability of the domotic automation service. These findings were consistent with the reviewed literature and highlighted the importance of supply, demand, pricing, and marketing strategies for the commercial viability of domotic automation services.
