| dc.description | Para un adecuado desarrollo de niños y niñas de edad preescolar, es necesario que se incluya en su educación; actividades que permitan motivar al preescolar y sentirse seguro de lo que realiza en clase y su entorno. Además de que el docente busque nuevas herramientas, para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza y de una manera más dinámica, interactuar con los niños.\nPeques es un Software, desarrollado para mejorar el aprendizaje de preescolares, con interfaces de fácil manejo para los docentes y didácticas para los niños. Es una herramienta complementaria para los docentes ya que está desarrollado para estimular cada una de las áreas de aprendizaje de los niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años de edad.\nPara el desarrollo e Implementación de éste proyecto, se tomó en cuenta la Escuela Agustín J Peralta; del cantón Nabón de la Provincia del Azuay, en donde se pudo interactuar tanto con los niños como docentes de Educación Inicial. | dc.description.resumen | Currently, there is an increasing tendency to universalize the access to scientific knowledge included in publications, articles, research papers, and other types of documents at the Latin-American and world level. In this sense, it is recommended to use policies and protocols that are implemented through software (with a free or paid license) that permits their open access, and it is done by publishing and sharing their metadata.\nThe completed investigation began in the Academic Unit Library of Systems Engineering, Electrics, and Electronics, with the idea to share scientific information, with an institutional repository that is a web application directed towards the students of the Catholic University of Cuenca, whose main objective is to provide the students with the access to educational research material that helps them with their studies.\nIt was investigated what are the tendencies at the world and Latin-American level towards the utilization of the Open Source politics, and as support for the investigated tendencies, there were selected two types of institutional repository software for evaluation.\nThe evaluation of the candidate software was brought forward through qualitative comparisons (usefulness), quantitative comparisons (amount of installations, their distribution), and installation tests with different options using virtual technology.\nTo assure the correct comparison of each functional and technical aspect for each of the software, it was developed some evaluation tables with a numerical rating of each aspect, represented by a percentage. The obtained results were used as guides to carry out the recommendation of the software in use.\nAs a result, Dspace was taken as the best option due to the massive acceptance that it has in Latin-America, due to its ease of use, because it adjusts itself to the needs of an institution and its students.\nTo get integration with the webpage, it was proceeded to configure Dspace to personalize it and adjust it to the needs of the University, and finally a test was taken with the users to demonstrate their acceptance. | es_ES |
