dc.description	La presente revisión bibliográfica denominada, Terapia de Tercera Generación (TTG) en el tratamiento de sintomatología psicoafectiva y somática en mujeres con fibromialgia, está centrada en explicar la efectividad de este conjunto de herramientas cognitivas y conductuales en las mujeres que padecen fibromialgia para el tratamiento de los síntomas que presentan; este estudio tuvo como objetivo explicar la intervención de la Terapia Cognitivo Conductual de Tercera Generación en los síntomas psicoafectivos y somáticos en mujeres con este síndrome. La metodología consistió en una revisión bibliográfica y documental relacionada con el tema; tomando una muestra total de 10 investigaciones; cuyos resultados indicaron que la terapia Cognitivo Conductual de Tercera Generación (TTG), en especial la Técnica de Aceptación y Compromiso (TAC), Terapia Cognitiva Basada en Mindfulness o conciencia plena (MBCT), fueron efectivas en el abordaje de los síntomas psicoafectivos y somáticos en mujeres con fibromialgia; se identificaron casos de disminución significativa en la sintomatología y una mejora en la aceptación del dolor, así como una reducción en la depresión y ansiedad. También se evidenció una mejora a nivel psicológico, físico, social de las participantes de ciertos casos investigados. Como conclusiones se señala que esta terapia tiene efectividad para la regulación de los síntomas de fibromialgia en mujeres; se recomienda realizar más investigaciones para respaldar estos hallazgos y comprender completamente su efectividad en diferentes poblaciones y contextos clínicos.
dc.description.abstract	This literature review entitled Third Generation Therapy (TGT) in treating psycho-affective and somatic symptoms in women with fibromyalgia focuses on explaining the efficacy of this set of cognitive and behavioral tools in women with fibromyalgia to treat the symptoms they present. This study aimed to describe the intervention of Third Generation Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on psycho-affective and somatic symptoms in women with this syndrome. The methodology consisted of a literature and documentary review related to the topic, taking a total sample of ten investigations whose results indicated that the Third Generation Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TGT), especially Acceptance and Commitment Technique (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy or Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), were effective in addressing psycho-affective and somatic symptoms in women with fibromyalgia. Cases of a significant decrease in symptomatology and an improvement in pain acceptance were identified, as well as a reduction in depression and anxiety. An improvement in the participants' psychological, physical, and social levels in some of the cases investigated was also evidenced. In conclusion, it is noted that this therapy is effective for the regulation of fibromyalgia symptoms in women. Further research is recommended to support these findings and fully understand their efficacy in different populations and clinical contexts.
