dc.descriptionLa investigación se centra en las organizaciones de Economía Popular y Solidaria, tienen como objetivo principal promover la inclusión social, el desarrollo sostenible y la equidad económica, este modelo basa en principios de solidaridad, cooperación y responsabilidad social, buscan generar oportunidades económicas para sectores de la población que tradicionalmente han estado excluidos en el sistema económico formal, pretendiendo entender cómo controlan las operaciones financieras de sus bienes y servicios para mejorar su desarrollo económico. Con este fin el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar como el sector de la Economía Popular y Solidaria no financieras consideran a la contabilidad como una herramienta de gestión muy importante al aplicar en su actividad económica, para ello se emplea una metodología mixta, con enfoque exploratorio y recopilación de datos en el campo, para la investigación el tamaño de la muestra se determinó utilizando una fórmula estadística con un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%, el estudio básicamente se enfoca en las organizaciones de la Economía Popular y Solidaria asentadas en el cantón Azogues, utilizando para ello técnicas como la revisión bibliográfica y encuestas. Entre los resultados alcanzados podemos manifestar que los representantes de las organizaciones, reconocen la importancia de la aplicación de la contabilidad para el manejo financiero de estas organizaciones, muchas aún no la implementan debido a diversos factores. Mantener los controles patrimoniales en las organizaciones de este modelo económico, es esencial para garantizar un crecimiento sostenible y una distribución equitativa para sus beneficios económicos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe research is directed at Popular and Solidarity Economy organizations, which aim to promote social inclusion, sustainable development, and economic equity; This model is based on principles of solidarity, cooperation, and social responsibility, and they try to generate economic opportunities for sectors of the population that have traditionally excluded from the formal economic system, understanding how they control the financial operations of their goods and services to improve their economic development. This work aims to analyze how the non-financial Popular and Solidarity Economy sector considers accounting an essential management tool for their economic activity. It uses a mixed methodology with an exploratory approach and data collection in the field. For the research, the sample size was determined using a statistical formula with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. The study focuses on the Popular Solidarity Economy organizations in the Azogues canton, using techniques such as literature reviews and surveys. Among the results, the organization's representatives recognize the importance of applying accounting for the financial management of the businesses; however, only some implement it due to various factors. Maintaining equity controls in the organizations of this economic model is essential to guarantee sustainable growth and an equitable distribution of economic benefits.es_ES
