| dc.description | Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de Neuropatía Diabética Periférica y Factores asociados en pacientes adultos medios con Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 que asisten a la consulta externa del Hospital Básico Jipijapa entre los meses Mayo- Octubre 2015\nMateriales y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio clínico epidemiológico transversal donde se utilizara el método observacional y descriptivo. La muestra del mismo fue no probabilística a todos los pacientes adultos medios con diagnóstico de diabetes mellitus 2 y atendidos en consulta externa del Hospital Básico Jipijapa desde Mayo- Octubre de 2015. El instrumento utilizado fue un formulario previamente validado constará de variables socio demográficos y variables de estudio incluido el test The Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument. Los resultados fueron procesados en el sistema SPSS 22.00 versión evaluación.\nResultados: En el estudio encontramos una prevalencia del 77.4% de Neuropatía Diabética Periférica independientemente al grado de severidad.\nConclusiones: En los pacientes con diagnóstico de Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 se observó que el nivel de glucosa capilar sea mayor, igual o inferior a 126mg/dl desarrollaron Neuropatía Diabética Periférica leve. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | ABSTRACT Aim: To determine the prevalence of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and associated factors in adult average patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 who are present at the external consultation of Jipijapa Basic Hospital between the months May- October 2015.\nMaterials and Methods: there was conducted a clinical transversal epidemiological study where the method was the use of observation and description. The sample of the same one was not probabilistic to all the adult average patients with diagnosis of diabetes mellitus 2 and treated in external consultation of Jipijapa Basic Hospital from May- October, 2015. The used instrument was a previously validated form consisting of socio-demographic variables and study variables including the test: The Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument. The results were processed in the SPSS 22.00 system version evaluation.\nResults: In the study we found a 77.4 % prevalence of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy independently from the degree of severity.\nConclusions: In the patients diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus type 2, we observed that the level of capillary glucose where is major, equal or low to 126mg/dl, the patients developed mild Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. | es_ES |
