| dc.description | OBJETIVO: Determinar el Índice de Higiene Oral Simplificado en niños de 6 años escolares de la Parroquia Checa en la Ciudad de Cuenca en el año 2016. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: El enfoque de la investigación fue de tipo cuantitativo, el diseño y nivel de la investigación fue de tipo descriptivo, de técnica observacional y temporalidad retrospectiva. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 47 fichas epidemiológicas de niños de seis años correspondientes al total de fichas registradas en la base de datos Epi Info versión 7.2. RESULTADOS Y CONCLUSIONES: La parroquia Checa tuvo un ÍHO - S de 0.83 "BUENO". Se analizó el IPB con un promedio de 0.81 "BUENO" y el IPC con un promedio de 0.02 "BUENO". El nivel de Higiene Oral que se obtuvo en relación al sexo fue mayor para el nivel de IHO-S "REGULAR", en un promedio de 1.61 para el sexo femenino y en menor promedio para el sexo masculino 1.53; seguido de un nivel de IHO-S "BUENO" con un promedio de 0.71 para el sexo femenino, mientras que el sexo masculino tuvo un promedio de 0.72 y no tuvieron ninguno de los dos sexos un nivel de IHO-S "EXCELENTE", sin una relación estadísticamente significativa. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | AIM: To determine the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index in 6-year-old school children of Checa Town,that belong in Cuenca City at 2016. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The approach of the investigation was quantitative type, the design and level of the investigation was descriptive type, observational technique and retrospective temporality. The study population consisted of 47 children's epidemiological files of six-year-old corresponding to the total of cards registered in the data base Epi Info version 7.2. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: The Checa Town had a IHO-S of 0.83 "WELL". IPB was analyzed with an average of 0.81 as "WELL" and the IPC with an average of 0.02 "WELL". Oral Hygiene level was obtained in relation to sex was higher for female with an average of 1.61 "REGULAR", tan males 1.53: followed by a level of OHI-S "WELL" with an average of 0.71 for females, while males had an average of 0.72 and did not have any of the two sexes level OHI-S "EXCELLENT", without a statistically significant relationship. | es_ES |
