| dc.description | OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre el grado de instrucción y la automedicación en adultos medios de 45 a 65 años de edad en la parroquia de Yanuncay de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador en el año 2017.MATERIALES Y METODOS: El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño caso control y de nivel relacional, el tipo de investigación fue de campo con técnica comunicacional y transversal actual. Para la toma de datos fue necesario la innovación de una ficha, la cual consta de una encuesta de Conhi que nos va a dar los resultados que queremos obtener. RESULTADOS: En los resultados se evaluó el Odds Ratio que fue 2.36, además se pudo determinar la automedicación según el sexo siendo más frecuente en el sexo masculino. CONCLUSIÓN: Se encontró que el sexo masculino presento más casos de automedicación, además que las personas con un grado de instrucción más bajo fueron las que más se auto medicaron, el tipo de medicamento más usado fueron analgésicos y antibióticos y la razón más común para auto medicarse fue el dolor de cabeza y la gripe | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | AIM: To determine the relationship between the level of instruction and self-medication in middle-aged adults from 45 to 65 years of age in the parish of Yanuncay in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador in 2017. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study was a quantitative approach, of control case design and relational level, the type of research was field with current communication and transversal technique. For the data collection it was necessary to innovate a file, which consists of a survey of Conhi that will give us the results we want to obtain. RESULTS: In the results the Odds Ratio was evaluated, which was 2.36, and it was also possible to determine the self-medication according to the sex, being more frequent in the male sex. CONCLUSION: It was found that the male sex presented more cases of self-medication, in addition that the people with a lower degree of instruction were the ones who were more self-medicated, the type of medication most used were analgesics and antibiotics and the most common reason for self medicating was the headache and the flu. | es_ES |
