dc.descriptionLa auditoría de gestión es una herramienta que sirve para diagnosticar, verificar, controlar y establecer recomendaciones en los procesos que las organizaciones realizan para lograr la consecución y el cumplimiento de sus objetivos. La presente investigación puntualiza la importancia de esta auditoría en el sector público y tiene como objetivo analizar el criterio de varios investigadores sobre como la Auditoría de Gestión sirve como herramienta adecuada para garantizar el cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos por los GAD dentro sus planes operativos, con la aplicación de procesos apegados a la normativa ecuatoriana. La auditoría de gestión analiza la eficiencia, eficacia y calidad con que se manejan los recursos públicos en los gobiernos autónomos descentralizados del Ecuador, con la aplicación de la auditoría de gestión se logra obtener la evidencia suficiente y competente cuyo resultado final de la investigación se ve reflejado en el informe de auditoría gestión, con las respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones, emitidas con el propósito de que se implementen acciones correctivas de las falencias encontradas y contribuyan al cumplimiento de objetivos y metas planteadas.La metodología para obtener información sobre auditoría de gestión en los Gobiernos Autónomos Descentralizados se investigó artículos científicos y revistas para recopilar información. Las conclusiones nos dan a conocer como se aplican las auditorías de gestión en los GAD del Ecuador.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe management audit is a tool that serves to diagnose, verify, control and establish recommendations in all the processes that organizations carry out to achieve the achievement and fulfillment of their strategic objectives. This work aims to analyze the criteria of several researchers on the way in which the Management Audit serves as an adequate tool to guarantee compliance with the objectives established by the GAD within their operational plans, with the application of processes attached to Ecuadorian regulations.The management audit analyzes the efficiency, effectiveness and quality with which the public resources of the decentralized governments of Ecuador are managed with the application of the management audit, sufficient and competent evidence is obtained, the final result of the investigation is reflected in the management audit report, such as conclusions and recommendations issued in order to implement corrective actions for the shortcomings found and contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives and goals set.The methodology to obtain information on performance audits in the Decentralized Autonomous Governments was investigated scientific articles and journals to gather information. The conclusions tell us how management audits should be applied in the GADs of Ecuador.es_ES
