dc.description	Antecedentes: La insuficiencia venosa es un síndrome que traduce clínicamente la presencia de un obstáculo que impide en condiciones normales el retorno venoso de una extremidad. Múltiples son los factores que se han asociado entre la patología, y su conducta terapéutica. \nObjetivo: La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la prevalencia quirúrgica y factores asociados a insuficiencia safenofemoral en pacientes entre 30 y 60 años. Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga, Cuenca, enero - diciembre 2016.\nMétodo: Se sigue un estudio descriptivo-retrospectivo. El universo está constituido por todos los pacientes adultos que estuvieron hospitalizados en el área de cirugía vascular para tratamiento quirúrgico con diagnóstico de insuficiencia safenofemoral teniendo en consideración las características de la\nenfermedad estudiada, su frecuencia, el tipo de estudio y criterios de exclusión y que ameritaron intervención quirúrgica en el Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga de la ciudad de Cuenca durante el año 2016.\nResultados: Se estudiaron 194 pacientes predominando el sexo femenino (64.95%); la prevalencia quirúrgica fue del 94.85%; el grupo etario de 41 a 50 años, (40.77%); las amas de casa (29.38%) y los obreros (28.35%) son las profesiones con mayor número de enfermos; la bipedestación (30.41%) es el\nfactor de riesgo asociado. \nConclusión: Se concluye que existe un gran número de pacientes que son sometidos a cirugía por diagnóstico de insuficiencia safenofemoral, sin embargo, los resultados no se contrastan con los niveles de confianza a nuestro entender debido a que la muestra estudia es pequeña.	es_ES
dc.description.resumen	Background: Chronic venous insufficiency is a syndrome that translates clinically the presence of an obstacle that prevents normal conditions the venous return of a limb. There are many factors that have been associated between the pathology, and its therapeutic behavior.\nObjective: The research aims to determine the prevalence and factors associated with insufficient safenofemoral in patients between 30 and 60 years. \nHospital José Carrasco Arteaga, Cuenca, January - December 2016. Method: A descriptive-retrospective study is followed. The universe consists of all the adult patients who were hospitalized in the area of vascular surgery for surgical treatment with a diagnosis of saphenofemoral insufficiency taking into\nconsideration the characteristics of the disease studied, its frequency, the type of study and exclusion criteria and that merited surgical intervention at the Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga of the city of Cuenca during the year 2016. \nResults: We studied 194 patients and a predominance of females (64.95%); the surgical prevalence was 34.99%; the age group of 41 to 50 years, (40.77%), housewives (29.38%) and the workers (28.35%) are the professions with the highest number of patients; the standing (39.95%) is the associated risk factor.\nConclusion: It is concluded that there are a large number of patients who undergo surgery for diagnosis of safenofemoral, however, the results are compared with the levels of trust in our opinion due to the fact that the sample studied is small.	es_ES
