dc.descriptionEl principal objetivo del presente artículo fue determinar la cadena de valor de la producción de artesanías, elaborado por los adultos mayores del GAD del cantón Sucúa. Este trabajo se realizó viendo la necesidad y la situación económica de los adultos mayores del Gad del cantón Sucúa, buscamos alternativas y ayudamos a escoger la mejor manera de ingresar al mercado con sus productos. A lo largo de esta investigación se observó lo importante que es el apoyo de una institución como es el GAD del cantón Sucúa y la influencia que tienen en cuanto al crecimiento económico de este grupo vulnerable qué son los adultos mayores. La investigación que se utilizó es de tipo descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo logrando con ello recaudar información que me permitiera indagar en la realidad de los hechos que hacía hincapié en el bajo crecimiento económico de los sectores más vulnerables, en este caso el de los adultos mayores que pertenecen al grupo de Espacios Alternativos del GAD Municipal del Cantón Sucúa, se realizó un estudio socioeconómico a cada uno de ellos mediante la técnica de la encuesta y la observación directa luego analizamos los emprendimientos que realizan y de esta manera propusimos estrategias de comercialización que impulsen el desarrollo socioeconómico del sector.es_ES
dc.description.resumenThe main objective of this article was to determine the value chain of handicaft production, developed by the elderly of the GAD of the Sucúa canton. This work was carried out looking at the need and the economic situaction of th elderly of the Gad of the canton Sucúa, we look for alternatives and we help to choose the best way to enter the market with their products. Throughout this research it was observed how important is the support of an institution such as the GAD of Caton Sucúa and the influence they have on the economic growth of this vulnerable group, which are older adults. The research that was used is of a descrive type with a qualitative approach, achieving in this way to collect information that would allow me to investigate the reality of the facts that emphasized the low economic growth of the most vulnerable sector, in this case adults. Older people who belong to the group of Alternative Spaces of the Municipal GAD of the Sucúa Canton, a socioeconomic study was carried out to each one of them by means of them by menas og the technique of the survey and the direct observation later we analyzed the undertakings that they realize and in his way we proposed strategies of commercialization that boost the socioeconomic development of the sector.es_ES
