| dc.description | PROPÓSITO: El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación es estudiar las \nmanifestaciones clínicas y diagnóstico del síndrome compartimental en \nextremidades superiores e inferiores en pacientes de 20 a 60 años de edad en el \nperíodo de Enero 2012 a Enero de 2013; en el Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga, para \nlograr un conocimiento adecuado y establecer un tratamiento oportuno y eficaz. \nOBTENCIÓN DE LOS DATOS: Se realizó un estudio científico y descriptivo \nretrospectivo de contenidos bibliográficos, lecturas científicas, revisión de historias \nclínicas en el hospital José Carrasco Arteaga y encuestas a médicos. \nSELECCIÓN DE ESTUDIOS: Trece artículos bibliográficos fueron elegidos, además \nde datos estadísticos manual y virtual de alrededor de 1000 pacientes del área de \ntraumatología de dicho hospital y encuestas dirigidas a médicos tratantes del \nhospital. \nEXTRACCIÓN DE DATOS: Se analizaron los estudios y se identificaron los datos \nque pudieran incluirse en este trabajo investigativo. \nRESULTADO DE LA SÍNTESIS DE DATOS: Las estadísticas encontradas de esta \npatología a nivel de extremidades fueron un total de 6 casos que representa el \n100%. Además se indicara porcentajes de acuerdo a las diferentes variables \nencontradas. \n CONCLUSIÓN: Se estudio las manifestaciones clínicas y diagnóstico del síndrome \ncompartimental en extremidades superiores e inferiores, logrando un conocimiento \nadecuado de dicha patología para tener un tratamiento orientado al problema. | |

| dc.description.resumen | PURPOSE: The main objective of this research is to study the clinical features and \ndiagnosis of compartment syndrome in upper and lower extremities in patients 20-60 \nyears of age in the period from January 2012 to January 2013, in the Hospital José \nCarrasco Arteaga, to achieve adequate knowledge and establish a timely and \neffective treatment. \nDATA COLLECTION: We conducted a retrospective study of scientific and \nbibliographic content, scientific readings, review of medical records at the hospital \nJosé Carrasco Arteaga and medical surveys. \nSTUDY SELECTION: Thirteen bibliographic items were chosen, plus virtual \nstatistical manual of about 1000 patients from the trauma of the hospital and surveys \nwith hospital physicians. \nDATA EXTRACTION: Studies were analyzed and identified the data that could be \nincluded in this research work. \nRESULTS OF DATA SYNTHESIS: The statistics of this disease found at the \nextremities were a total of 6 cases representing 100%. Furthermore, according to \npercentages indicate the different variables encountered. \nCONCLUSION: We study the clinical manifestations and diagnosis of compartment \nsyndrome in upper and lower extremities, achieving adequate knowledge of this \ndisease to have a problem-oriented treatment. | |
