DISEÑO DE ANTEPROYECTO ARQUITECTÓNICO PARA UN CENTRO DE DESARROLLO INFANTIL EN EL CENTRO PARROQUIAL DE JAVIER LOYOLA

Abstract

This research aims to design a preliminary architectural design for a Child Development Center (CDC) in the parish center of Javier Loyola, addressing the identified need and absence of such facilities in the area. Based on a review of national and international regulations, as well as a comparative analysis of architectural references, design proposals were developed to create appropriate spaces for early childhood care. The project is justified by the interest of the Parish Autonomous Decentralized Government (GAD, by its Spanish acronym) in ensuring the right to comprehensive development for children aged 1 to 3 years, with the goal of strengthening the local education system. As a result, a contextualized architectural proposal is presented, conceived as a planning tool for local authorities. It is based on a synthesis of theoretical analysis, case study reviews, and site analysis. The proposal is structured around five key components: urban context, form and expression, functionality, technical aspects, and environmental sustainability.
