| dc.description | OBJETIVO: El objetivo de esta investigación fue caracterizar la demanda de Servicios de Salud Dental en madres y niños de la ciudad de Cuenca.\nMATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: La metodología aplicada permitió alcanzar los resultados deseados esta investigación se la pudo realizar gracias a la colaboración de los encuestados.\nRESULTADOS: Los resultados obtenidos fueron: variables recogidas según edad, sexo, localidad, presencia de alteraciones mucosas y periodontales; necesidad de tratamiento; jefe de hogar o encargado del niño. La base de datos se analizó mediante Microsoft Excel. Se realizó estadística descriptiva e inferencial bivariante y multivariante. La demanda de profesionales Odontólogos es significativa, de 630 personas encuestas, el 30 % requiere personal y es importante mencionar que se debe hacer promoción sobre la importancia de visitar a los especialistas, pues la mayoría de las personas acuden a un mismo Odontólogo según el resultado de las encuestas.\nCONCLUSIONES: De acuerdo con el estudio existe un 30 % de personas que no acuden al consultorio dental, el 70 % acuden regularmente al dentista. La Autopercepción de la Salud Dental de la Madre, menciona que su salud bucal está en Muy Buenas condiciones con un porcentaje de 41%. En cuanto a la Percepción de la Salud Dental del Niño referido por la Madres el 36 % de sus niños se encuentra en buenas condiciones. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | OBJECTIVE: The objective of this research was to characterize the demand for services of Dental Health in mothers and children of the city of Cuenca.\nMATERIALS AND METHODS: The methodology allowed to achieve the desired results this research could be performed it thanks to the collaboration of the respondents.\nRESULTS: The results were: variables collected according to age, sex, location, presence of mucosal and periodontal disorders; need for treatment; Head of household or charge of the child. The database is analyzed using Microsoft Excel. He was descriptive and inferential bivariate and multivariate statistics. The demand for dental care professionals is significant, 630 people surveys, 30% requires personal and it is important to mention that it should be promotion about the importance of visiting specialists, because the majority of people attend a same dentist depending on the results of the surveys.\nCONCLUSIONS: in accordance with the study there is a 30% of people that do not come to the clinic dental, the 70% come regularly to the dentist. The self-perception of the Health Dental of her mother, mentions that his health oral is in very good conditions with a percentage of 41%.
