| dc.description | Antecedentes: El alcoholismo en adolescentes día a día se incrementa. Esto sucede por distintos factores económicos, sociales, culturales que lo desencadena o por falta de información. Objetivo: Determinar la Prevalencia y factores asociados de consumo de alcohol en estudiantes de bachillerato de La Unidad Educativa Temporal El Tambo, Cañar – Ecuador, Febrero- Julio 2015. Materiales y Metodología: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal, el universo está constituido por los estudiantes de bachillerato de La Unidad Educativa Temporal El Tambo. La muestra no probabilística consecutiva constituida por 84 estudiantes. Posteriormente se aplicó una encuesta previamente validada, ellos manifestaron participar voluntariamente y firmaron un asentimiento informado, los datos fueron analizados en el programa SPSS 15.00 (versión evaluación). Resultados: Se encontró que la prevalencia de consumo de alcohol en los estudiantes es 52,4%, de los cuales 36,9% sus progenitores han migrado existiendo asociación estadística con el consumo de alcohol, con un OR 2,635 (IC 95% 1,074- 6,462) (p 0,032), el 16,7%, consume alcohol en fiestas con asociación estadística con un OR 2,333 (IC 95% 1,780-3,058) (p 0,0001), y el 22,6% tiene fácil acceso al alcohol existiendo asociación estadística con un OR 6,840 (IC 95% 2,074-22,548) (p 0,0007). Conclusiones: Las situaciones sociales asociadas que tuvieron mayor influencia en el consumo de alcohol en los adolescentes, fueron la migración de los progenitores, el consumir alcohol cuando acuden a fiestas, y el que tengan fácil acceso al alcohol. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | Antecedents: Alcoholism among teenagers has increased in current days. It is caused by many factors, such as economic, social, and cultural factors, or by the lack of information about this topic.\nObjective: To determine prevalence and factors associated with alcohol consumption among students from “El Tambo” high school in Cañar- Ecuador from February to July in 2015.\nMethodology: Itis a descriptive, quantitative, and cross- disciplinary study. The universe is the students. The participants are the students from the high school who will take a survey. The surveys were analyzed by a SPSS 15.00 program, an evaluation version.\nResults: Fin dings ho wed that the prevalence of alcohol consumption among students is fifty two point four percent (52, 4%). From this percentage, a thirty six point nine percent (36, 9%) of parents from students have immigrated to other countries. This factor is associated with alcohol consumption.
