| dc.description | OBJETIVO: Relacionar la ocupación laboral y la ansiedad dental en personas de 45 a 65 años, de la parroquia Huayna Cápac, Cuenca-Ecuador, 2017. MATERIALES Y MÈTODOS: Enfoque: Cuantitativo, Diseño de Investigación: Caso control, Nivel de Investigación: Relacional, Tipo de Investigación: Por el ámbito: De Campo, Por la técnica: Comunicacional, Por la temporalidad: Transversal retrospectivo. Se aplicó un total de 397 encuestas mediante la fórmula de conveniencia se obtuvo una muestra de 216, con 108 casos y controles. Se utilizará la encuesta/escala de Ansiedad Dental Versión Corta. Se determina la relación entre ocupación laboral y ansiedad dental mediante la utilización de ODDS RATIO. RESULTADOS: la muestra fue de 108 casos y controles, 46 casos en mujeres y 62 casos en hombres, el OR fue de 0.87 con límites de confianza entre 0.4 y 1.59 CONCLUSIÓN: No existe relación entre la ocupación laboral y la ansiedad dental en la parroquia Huayna Cápac. De acuerdo a los casos y controles de nuestra muestra, el sexo masculino presenta mayor ansiedad dental. La edad con mayor ansiedad dental son las de 46 y 50 años, dentro de los casos y controles. | es_ES |

A total of 397 surveys were applied using the convenience formula, a sample of 216 was obtained, with 108 cases and controls. The survey / scale of Dental Anxiety Short Version will be used. The relationship between occupation and dental anxiety is determined through the use of ODDS RATIO. RESULTS: the sample was 108 cases and controls, 46 cases in women and 62 cases in men, the OR was 0.87 with confidence limits between 0.4 and 1.59 CONCLUSION: There is no relationship between occupation and dental anxiety in the parish Huayna Cápac.
