| dc.description | Una cubierta vegetal es una tendencia creciente a nivel mundial, que ha existido en todo el desarrollo de la historia humana, la naturaleza siempre ha sido el habitad natural del ser humano por ello siempre ha otorgado las facilidades para vivir en armonía sin dañar el entorno natural, como por ejemplo, la existencia de cuevas naturales, casas en los árboles, hasta formaciones rocosas recubiertas de vegetal; esto ha permitido que el ser humano viva plenamente haciendo uso de cada recurso. \nEl Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Cuenca es considerado como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad desde el 1 de diciembre del 2008, por las características arquitectónicas que poseen sus viviendas, lo cual obliga a conservar muchas de las propiedades de materiales en su mantenimiento y remodelación, con el pasar del tiempo la ciudad de Cuenca se ha convertido en un destino turístico, al punto que las mansiones o casas grandes que se encuentra en esta zona se conviertan en hoteles, centros de acogida masiva, los característicos patios centrales, huertos y áreas verdes, son eliminados para ser ocupados ante la necesidad de más espacio. Por ello se propone la utilización de terrazas con recubrimiento vegetal, no como masetas decorativas o plantas de flores colgantes artificiales, sino, proponer la tecnología que permita una relación acorde entre la estructura de una vivienda patrimonial, con la tecnología actual, donde se puedan crear jardines naturales que no estén a nivel de piso.\nLa vivienda en la cual se propone la instalación de este tipo de cubierta, es una casa genérica que se encuentra en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Cuenca, es decir con paredes soportantes de ladrillo o adobe, terrazas o balcones de madera con ladrillo, que serán sustituidos con materiales de mayor resistencia como el hierro y el hormigón armado. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | A plant cover is a growing trend worldwide, which has existed in the entire development of human history, nature has always been the natural habitat for man thus always providing facilities to live in harmony without harming the natural surroundings, such as the presence of natural caverns, treehouses and even rocky formations covered with vegetation; This has allowed human beings to live completely making use of every available resource. \n The Historic Downtown of the city of Cuenca is considered a Cultural Heritage since \nDecember 1st, 1999, because of the architectural features it possess their dwellings, which \ndemands to preserve the characteristics of materials in the maintenance and remodeling, over\ntime the city of Cuenca has become a tourist destination, to the point that the mansions and large houses located in this area have become into hotels and hosting facilities; courtyards, gardens and green areas are removed to be filled with the necessity of space. Therefore the use of terraces with vegetable coating is proposed, not as decorative potted plants or artificial flowers hanging but to use technology that allows a link line between the structures of a heritage home with today's technology, where they can create natural gardens which are not at a floor level.\n The house in which the installation of this type of housing is proposed is a common house located in the Historic Downtown of the city of Cuenca, ie, with walls supported by bricks or adobe, terraces or wooden balconies with brick, which will be replaced with higher strength materials such as iron and reinforced concrete. | es_ES |
