| dc.description | El hipotiroidismo subclínico, es un problema de salud pública por su alta prevalencia muy común a nivel nacional e internacional que afecta al ser humano dado por ciertos factores asociados que con el paso de los años han influenciado de forma directa a los patogénesis de la enfermedad. La introducción del término y el concepto de Hipotiroidismo Subclínico ha supuesto una auténtica revolución en el campo de la patología tiroidea. Es por ello muy importante definir con presición lo que se entiende por factores asociados al hipotiroidismo subclínico. JUSTIFICACIÓN: El trabajo investigativo tiene el propósito de dar un mejor conocimiento sobre el hipotiroidismo subclínico en nuestro medio, o aclarar dudas en relación a los objetivos específicos planteados, de mucha importancia es determinar los factores asociados al hipotiroidismo subclínico, ya que de esta manera tendremos un mayor enfoque en prevención. OBJETIVO: Determinar los factores asociados al hipotiroidismo subclínico en pacientes atendidos en el departamento de Consulta Externa del Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo durante Enero a Diciembre del 2013. TIPO DE ESTUDIO: Fue un tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal, retrospectivo. UNIVERSO: Estuvo constituido por todos los pacientes que fueron atendidos en el Departamento de Consulta Externa del área de Medicina interna del H.H.C.C. los mismo que fueron 1621 pacientes. MUESTRA: Estuvo representada por 70 historias clínicas de los pacientes con diagnósticos de hipotiroidismo subclínico atendidos en el Departamento de Consulta Externa del área de Medicina interna del H.H.C.C. RESULTADO: Se determinó que los factores asociados en los pacientes con diagnóstico de hipotiroidismo subclínico, fueron la hipertensión arterial (41%) la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 (26%) y la obesidad (19%), además se observó la sociación de los factores entre si. Hipertensión Arterial y Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 2 (6%), Hipertensión Arterial y Obesidad (4%), Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 2 y Obesidad (3%), Obesidad Hipertensión Arterial y Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 2 (1%) atendidos en el departamento de Consulta Externa del Hospita Homero Castanier Crespo durante Enero a Diciembre del 2013. CONCLUSIONES: El factor asociado con mayor incidencia en nuestro medio al Hipotiroidismo Subclínico durante el 2013 es la Hipertensión Arterial, (41%) seguido de la Diabetes Mellitus (26%) y por último la Obesidad (19%) la edad con mayor predisposición fue entre los 40 a 49 años, en pacientes de sexo femenino. | dc.description.resumen | The Subclinical Hypothyroidism is a public health problem for is high prevalence very common nationally that affects human beings because of certain associated factors that over the years has influenced in a direction from with the pathogenesis of this ill. The introduction of the term subclinical hypothyroidism has set an authenticable revolution in the field of thyroid pathology. So it is very important to define with precision what we understand with associated factors to the subclinical hypothyroidism. JUSTIFICATION: This investigation has the purpose to give a better knowledge about the subclinical hypothyroidism in our media or clear doubts about the specific objectives; it is of much importance to determine the factors associated to the subclinical hypothyroidism this way we will have a major approach of prevention.OBJECTIVE: Determine the factors associated with the subclinical hypothyroidism in patients treated in the Department of External Consultation in the "Homero Castanier Crespo" Hospital during the period of January - December of 2013. TYPE OF STUDY: A descriptive type, transversal cut, retrospective. UNIVERSE: It will be composed with all of the medical histories of the patients that were being treated in the Department of External Consultation in the area Internal Medicine of H.H.C.C. the same that was 1621 in the total sample. SAMPLE: I was presented with 70 medical histories all of the patients with subclinical hypothyroidism diagnose treated in the Department of External Consultation in the are of Internal Medicine of H.H.C.C. RESULTS: It was determined that the factors associated with patients with subclinical hypothyroidism diagnose, arterial hypertension (41%), diabetes mellitus 2 (26%) an obesity (19), also it was observed de-association of the factors within each other arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus 2 (6%), arterial hypertension an obesity (4%), diabetes mellitus 2 and obesity (3%) arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus 2 and obesity (1%) of patients treated in the Department of External Consultation in the area of Internal Medicine of H.H.C.C. during the period of January - December 2013. CONCLUSIONS: The associated factors more commonly attached in our media to subclinical hypothyroidism during 2013 is; arterial hypertension (41%) Mellitus diabetes 2 (26%)y lastly obesity(19%), the oldest age with higher predisposition was from 40 to 49 years old, in female patients.
