| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Introduction: COVID-19 is a respiratory disease characterized by several clinical manifestations; many patients present sequelae after overcoming the viral phase, called post-COVID-19 syndrome or prolonged COVID. Methodology: It was an observational, descriptive-correlational study with a quantitative approach, with a sample of 465 people aged 20 to 59 years from Biblián and Déleg. Signs and symptoms post-COVID-19 correspond to 20%, with a significant relationship between post-COVID syndrome and the following variables: comorbidities, hospitalization for COVID-19, use of masks, hand washing, and the ability to perform daily activities (p < 0.05). No association between immunizations and post-COVID-19 syndrome is identified (p= 0.177). Conclusion: It is evident that people suffering from comorbidities are more prone to develop post-COVID-19 signs which hinder their ability to perform daily activities. | es_ES |
